“Loved this place. I was in town for the weekend and wanted to eat some Somali food. I’m happy I chose this restaurant. Their rice and goat meal is great! Also liked their samosas. Can’t remember the name of our waiter but he was a super nice guy.“

“Delicious food great staff. Glad we finally got to go there and definitely will go back. The vegetarian platter is to die for. I cannot recommend this enough. We had the ceremony coffee and it was deep rich and best enjoyed with a bit of sugar. They gave us an appetizer that was some kind of butter and barley bar that was heavily spiced. It was delicious. If you like good food and good people it’s well worth the trip.“

“This food was so good. I took one bite of the tibs yebig and my soul genuinely started ascending to the great heavens and beyond. My group and I walked into the restaurant and sat down, we happened the be the only people there. He took our order, made the food and taught us how to properly eat it. He was very kind to us. I will be returning. And you need to go now, don’t walk, sprint.“

“My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and we were impressed by the food and overall experience. The highlight of my meal was the lamb tibs and the vegetarian platter. The lamb tibs were cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice to give it a flavorful kick. The seasoning was rich and aromatic, making each bite a delightful experience. The vegetarian platter was a feast for veggie lovers like us. It included a variety of vegetable stews, lentils, and other delightful plant-based dishes. Each item was distinct in taste and texture. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served with injera, a soft and spongy flatbread. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. The service was prompt and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this Ethiopian restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, authentic cuisine.Parking: limited space“

“Such a wonderful restaurant! We came here as a small group for a close, intimate lunch/dinner on a spring Sunday. The atmosphere was inviting, warm and filled with appetizing smells. We were seated by the window, in the cool sunlight, in a booth with plenty of space for the three of us.We ordered the coffee to start with sambuusas, eating and drinking and talking merrily. In no time, the meals came, two orders of Tibbs and one order of Kitfo. The portions were generous and the tastes rich and delicious! We enjoyed every bite, leaving full.and satisfied with our meal and our experience. We hope to come again soon and try more of the various options! ?“

“Food was delicious. I got the doro wat. The only complaint I have is that for $18 you get one small chicken drumstick and a hard boiled egg in a vat of (albeit delicious) sauce. They use organic chicken, so it was even smaller than normal - just a bit larger than what you see when you get buffalo wings. So buyer beware.“
