“Food was okay. Nothing special about this place considering the food.Average at best.We had breakfast and felt it was only okay. The sausage was not very good. I felt like it was frozen and bland.Eggs and hash browns were cooked well. Don't order the wheat toast as it was dry and flavorless.“

“I had been here once in the past for a party, so I decided to try it again. Our server was excellent. My wife ordered the mac and cheese and she said it was pretty good. I had the burrito bowl with pulled pork, which was also pretty good. I thought the food was overpriced considering the quality. The servings were large, but neither of us opted to bring home the leftovers.Parking: Parking was very easy in the large lot.“

Uncle John's Bar & Grill Bar & Grill • $
12510 Oak Lodge Ln NE, Rochester

“Outstanding Friday night special: fish fry, all you can eat. Filets were huge, longer than the plate (!), lightly battered, perfectly fried. [We'll be back for this!] Choice of sides, I took the cole slaw -- nicely dressed and perfectly seasoned with a light touch of sweetness and tang. My hubby took the potatoes au gratin (served in a small metal bowl), good crispy top, creamy sauce.SALAD BAR: serve-yourself, very ordinary ingredients like iceberg lettuce (crispy & sweet), shredded cheddar cheese, bright green (thawed?) peas, black olive slices, coarse-chopped onion, green peppers, baby carrots, several dressings, croutons, sunflower seeds, fake bacon bits, pickled beet slices, potato salad, pasta salad.WAIT STAFF: Excellent, the right amount of friendly attentiveness.DRINKS: white Zinfandel listed on the menu but didn't have it, got Moscato instead; companions ordered various of the tap & bottled beers.NOTE: pretty, secluded location, near the Zumbro River, which can be seen as you drive in. Inside, well, you don't eat here for the atmosphere; it's not fancy: brown carpet, white walls, Formica-top tables--but it's clean and neat.ACCESSIBILITY: Tight squeeze for my hubby in his wheelchair getting past bar patrons to the more spacious dining room in back. Parking lot is gravel & handicapped parking spot is not well marked--but we managed, thanks to being on the outside end & next to our friends' truck.Wheelchair accessibility: See review“

“I ordered from Glynner's this day because it was Friday during Lent. I looked online around town to see what other restaurants were offering for Lent specials, but what made me choose Glynner's was the various options. They offered Walleye. another type of fish, and shrimp all made two different ways. The shrimp tacos and the Walleye strips were amazing. My only letdown was the onion rings. They were extremely greasy. Definitely recommend trying Glynner's on a Friday during Lent for these specials.“

“Highly recommend 507 Public House! Angie and I celebrated our birthdays and it was awesome!! The food was amazing, the drinks were top knotch, and the service was excellent. We were tempted by the date night option but elected for two entries off the menu: Wagu steak and seafood pasta. Both were amazing! Then we finished it off with a truly mouth-watering chocolate and caramely bread pudding a la mode. My husband and I will be going back for a date night very soon!“
