“4/2/24 Update: Tops - under new management - still a nod to our Fighting Irish! Restaurant was clean and had some nice upgrades (flooring, extra tables). Kids corner is gone which was a bummer but it's more upscale of a place without it. No beer license as of my visit a week ago but sounds like they are working on it.The food: we really enjoyed the food quality and taste! Portions were perfect too! Pastas have homemade sauce from what I could tell! Cajun dish could use more spice and the tortellini could use less but other than that, a great meal! Cheese curds were delicious :)New owner is wonderful and wants to please the community. Please come back out to Tops and check out the updated menu and fresh ingredients made with love!“
“Okay so I live in cottage grove MN, and I work over here in Rosemount, MN, my order is very simple either medium or small pepperoni hand tossed pretty much every time. The cottage grove location, where I live, messes up my order almost everytime and it boggles my mind… I’ve ordered from the Rosemount location quite a few times now maybe 10 times and I haven’t had a mess up with any of my orders, not one. And honestly it should be that way when your spending money. Every once and a while sure, people aren’t perfect. But when I’m surprised that an order is correct at the cottage grove location? that’s not okay. Anyway I don’t have any names of the employees working tonight, but the date is 2/26/2024 and the manager working tonight was fantastic! And same goes to all the employees! my pizza was perfecto! Thanks I’ll be recommending this location to those I know“
“Papa Murphy’s is one of my favorite restaurants that doesn’t cook the food for you. I personally prefer taking home cooked up ‘za, but it’s also pretty fun to bake it in your own kitchen.. The pizzas are downright delicious and the cheesy bread is also top notch. However, I do wish they would put bigger pineapples on their pies. Pineapple pizza enthusiasts like myself would be so grateful if they took those tiny bits of pineapple and chunked them up. Pro tip: only bake one ‘za at a time. They bake faster that way and you can snack on your first pie while waiting for the second.“
“I have been frequenting since 1993. The new management has added a real upscale feel to the decor. The prices are still very affordable for drinking. Kitchen was closed and there seemed to be a general grumbling about dismay with new management but no tangible reason why other than the owner we had all known for dozens of years wasn't there anymore. Ole Piper is still a staple of the community and holds a tradition of providing a one-of a kind dining experience to the neighborhood. I am glad they survived for so long but I am confused about their lack of events/activities like darts, top golf, big game hunter, arcade games, or karaoke that graced these halls in years past.“
