Ordered plantains and didn't realize how burnt it was when I got home. Almost was not edible. I've had fried plantains from elsewhere but unsure if these are made to be burnt.
I recently visited Taco Libre in Roseville, and while I've been to other locations with a preferred vibe (West St Paul!), this one impressed me with its great food and quick service. Ordering is smooth as you do it on your own. The menu is EXTENSIVE (in a good way!), and prices are average/a little high. The carnitas street tacos were stuffed generously, and the meat had a melt-in-your-mouth quality with great flavor. I also loved the tortillas... They were corn, but kind of crispy...read full review
