I love the Country Lounge!! Got to go there on the party bus on my birthday and introduced the place to my family and relatives. I grew up right next to this place on Hoffman Rd. and also on Scheuneman Rd. All within a block from the Lounge. And what makes it really special was the fact my Dad played in the band here at the Lounge back in the 70's. My brother and his friends always hung out here in the 70's and 80's. The Country Lounge is a local dive bar - the kind of place where everyone turns to see who you are when you walk in the door. I happened across Country Lounge and I stopped in to see if they had any burgers. I was also curious because it looks like a vintage place that's been around for a long, long time. It's only a block off of 61, clearly visible when you drive by, especially at night when the big vintage neon sign is lit up. So... There are no burgers but plenty of Heggies...read full review

The Country Lounge has cheap drinks and they make a great Bloody Mary! They have pull tabs, a pool table, and a TouchTunes player. It’s definitely a dive bar, but it’s always a lot of fun! You can order Heggie’s pizza here, which are pretty tasty.
