If you have ever seen the TV show Archie Bunker's place. Yeah it was the prequel from Archie bunkers show. Right on the head of the nail. It's a little corner bar tucked into what seems to be a quiet neighborhood. Cash only bar which means when you order a drink be prepared to pucker. Good people. You like cribbage, they got cribbage. You like neighborhood gossip that's kind of juicy, they got gossip. You know it's a corner bar good place, safe.
It ain't fancy... If you are younger then 30 you can stop reading now. This is the kind of place where people like to stop and have a couple drinks (or more) and unwind, socialize, and enjoy good company. We are all regular folks at "The Vic". The music usually is not so loud you cannot talk with people, nor is it newer than 1984. That suits me just fine. If you are in the mood for a very low key and friendly drinking joint stop in.

This is a classic St. Paul bar. Don't expect anything fancy, but what it lacks in poshness it makes up in charm. The bartenders are very nice. The patrons are mostly regulars and are down to earth and friendly. If you want to just have a drink at a good price this is the spot. Oh and if you are worried about this place not being accepting and safe, I was here to watch my lesbian sister perform her music and was with my best friend who is a drag queen.
