Purple one is Taro, the pink mochi doughnut is strawberry with the spheres that conveniently break apart, the brown speckled one had some gooeyness to it that tasted like monkey bread, and I inhailed 10 doughnut holes they were so fluffy and good.“
“We got our sons birthday cake from the Hy-Vee bakery and loved it! I did the cake topper decor but they did a wonderful job with the frosting. My only complaint was the box they put the cake in. It was too small and it was tapped and not sturdy. I wish they would have an assortment of cake box sizes to fit different cakes.“

“Today was my first time at this bakery. I stopped by at 7:15am to pick up breakfast for my staff. The 2 young ladies were welcoming and informative, the selection looked amazing and within 10 minutes everything was gone without a single complaint. I have not had any of the coffee before but if you are looking for a great sandwich for lunch highly recommend this place! Everyone here are so kind and patient. “Edelweiss is a hidden gem. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots south of the Twin Cities, and has some of the best doughnuts in the state of Minnesota. Their Boston cream doughnuts are the best I've ever had anywhere -- so fresh, and with all natural ingredients, nothing artificial. Their coffee is excellent, and their breakfast sandwiches are superb. These come with a little side of their granola, which is also very good and a cool idea for a breakfast side. They do a brisk business in fancy desserts, which are in the left side of their case. Sooooo very worth the calories! Need a pie to bring to a Thanksgiving get-together? Their bourbon pecan pie is wonderful. My only bone to pick is that their apple desserts and doughnuts don't quite excel to the same degree as everything else. They slice their apples thickly, so the fruit isn't always cooked through. The service is very good. Ambiance is bright and sunny due to their windows, and there's a charming fireplace in the back. Stop by sometime! You'll be glad you did.“

“Fantastic and delicious cake! I came to LaBamba based on great reviews and those reviews are 100% good!!! I needed a dessert for a Mexican themed birthday party for 16 people and she recommended the Tres Leche cake. I picked it up the next day before the party and it was the hit of the party!!! Soooo good! I’ve also purchased other items from them and it’s all been very good. The people who work here are so nice. I’ll be a regular customer for all sorts of things there, now. Thank you for the amazing cake!!! This cake needs to be kept cool before serving. Save space in your refrigerator.“

“This place is not fancy. But that is part of the charm. Usually, no one speaks English, but that adds to the experience. The pastries are amazing and inexpensive. When we have out-of-town guests I always stop here the day before, so I can offer a complete selection of genuine Mexican baked items. I love it!“

My husband had the chocolate silk mini but really wasn't impressed noting it lacked the flavor one would expect of chocolate silk. “We had the BEST girls night taking Amy's macaroon making class! Located in downtown Hopkins is the cutest little bakery. The class takes place in the back kitchen area where they have designated baking stations with all the tools, equipment and ingredients set up for you! We had so much fun being able to pick out our own colors, fillings, and flavors. Im a red velvet girlie and my friend chose to do a fun, champagne filling flavor! There were so many flavors and colors to choose from, you really can't go wrong! Amy, the owner, leads the class and is so kind, down-to-earth and helpful with every step. There's a break halfway through the class to allow for your macaroons to bake. This is the perfect time to grab a quick drink or bite to eat at one of the nearby bars or restaurants. Although I doubt I could ever re-create these master piece macaroons on my own without Amy's expertise and help, it was a really great experience and the best, most delicious macaroons I've ever had! We each came out with a big batch and box of our own personal creations and was able to enjoy them for days after!! I highly recommend the class or just stopping by to purchase for the best macaroons ever!!“
