Good grocery store. Avoid their "Hy-Chi" prepared Chinese food offering at all costs.Standard steamed white rice made slightly brown with soy sauce, while still tasteless, and with the tiniest bits of scrambled egg hidden inside, and nothing else, is NOT "fried rice." Unless you're at HyVee. All but one meat entree option is breaded - and by breaded I mean four parts breading to one part meat. Almost substanceless. Every time we come here the pricing is wrong. Then we have to call someone over to fix it and that's like moving heaven and earth. Also I think prices are super high compare to the competition.

We got our sons birthday cake from the Hy-Vee bakery and loved it! I did the cake topper decor but they did a wonderful job with the frosting. My only complaint was the box they put the cake in. It was too small and it was tapped and not sturdy. I wish they would have an assortment of cake box sizes to fit different cakes.
