“Just moved to the area during the middle of the last month. Lot's of chinese food around here. This place had the best score so I figured I'd give it a shot. Quaint little shop, wonderful couple that owns it, very friendly, very accomadating. The food is top notch, I will be back again for sure many many times.“
“I've been coming here since 2018.My favorite dish is the Singapore Chow Mei Fun and the Spring Rolls.Everything here is terrific!! The owner a be employee's are gracious and very accommodating. If you haven't been here; you're cheating yourself out of some Damm good food and a plesent experience. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!!“
“I thought I had written a review for this place already, oops, my bad. I love, love, love this place! Came here on a weeknight and it was packed. I did not make reservation but we got lucky by snatching two chairs at the bar. It is small inside but worth the wait. The staff was super efficient and friendly, there were two girls and one guy. The guy helped us with drinks and ordering our food. I am so sorry I forgot his name, but you could tell how hardworking they all were. We both ordered Potsticker Duet (highly recommend): *shrimp, Angus beef, chives *tofu mushroom kale *dill pork *kimchi pork My favorite was dill pork, it goes well with old godmother hot sauce. Honestly all the potstickers were amazing and their list of dipping sauce was great too. A female chef (we think she is the owner) came out of the kitchen and asked us how we are doing, and she gave us some kimchi she made the same day for samplings. Everything was delicious and the drinks were top notch, of course I always get my favorite drink, old fashioned with Japanese whiskey. Superb place.“
“This was my first time at Duc’s and from the moment I walked in, I received such incredible and warm service. Duc is so thoughtful and friendly and takes care of each and every customer with so much attention to detail. The food came out fast and fresh, some of the very best vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Get the pho, get the appetizer platter, get the iced coffee and the kung pao chicken! I will be back, it was just that good! :)“
“This is a yummy new spot for us to enjoy!Try the fried noodles. That was our favorite dish. We also loved the scallion pancake. It was nice and crisp and had a light/non-greasy flavor. We found the whole experience enjoyable. The friendly staff and very clean environment will have us back again as well.“
“Authentic Chinese restaurant! Portions are really big and 1 dish is good for 3-4 people. Atmosphere is great. It can get really busy during peak hours but the wait is short and they accept reservations. Don't go home before tasting there free dessert at the end of the meal!“
“Loved the food. Best eggrolls I have ever head. And the wonton soup was so comforting on a cold wet day. The women who took my order and rang me out was friendly. She was very thankful for my business and when I paid and tipped in cash she gave me a chocolate truffle as a thank you. I will be returning to the place to try more food. The inside of the restaurant could use a little work in my opinion and I should have asked for the prices and receipt but it wasn’t a big deal for a small first time order“
“Best chowmeain restaurant ever I been going eating here since I was a kid 40 years ago wow still kicken it go Leo's best Chinese food around stop here for Chinese food great staff prices and more family known businesses thanks 5 star more like 100 “
“Been here twice nice and I can say it's a great place for lunch. Ordered the beef fried rice with a side of yum sauce and it def hits! Very pleased with how tender the beef is.The workers are really sweet and I learned that they just opened 2 months ago. Def will be back to try their ramen and some of their appetizer items.“
“I went here after moving to the area. The lady working the register was nice and friendly. They do have a small amount of seating at the restaurant but they're mostly to go. I ordered the egg drop soup and cheese wontons, egg drop soup was very good and it's huge! I didn't care for the cream cheese wontons- the wonton itself was harder and seemed over fried and the cream cheese filling didn't have much flavor other than cream cheese. My bf got the Mongolian beef mild and chicken friend rice. Both portions were good sizes. The chicken fried rice was a good amount and next time he will try the medium spice for the Mongolian beef. Mild was basically no spice at all, plain. We will return again.“
“Was craving sushi and Chinese, so decided to check this place out. I ordered to go and the food was still hot and crispy when I got home. The quality of the general tso’s chicken was really fresh, cream cheese wontons had lots of filling, and the fried chicken was flavorful, crunchy and juicy. Also, the sushi roll‘s rice to fish ratio was perfect! Will be back to try other dishes ?“
“The service was amazing. The staff took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my order was correct. Food was good, large portion for the price. I give it 4/5 as my food was not as spicy as I thought for medium but now I know. Would recommend“
“Everytime we order it is always nice and hot when we get home. We don't try a lot of the food but so far everything we get is so good. My only wish is that I love fresh spring rolls which is Vietnamese so I don't get that very often because my husband only likes the chow mein from Shangri-La. We have started coming more often since Covid because these people would bring your order out to your car no matter the weather. Also I love that they are not open on Sunday, reserving it for families of their employees or at least that's my thinking. Remember years ago when nothing was open on Sunday except the Lord's house I wish it was still that way!“
“This restaurant has great food and provides even better customer service. You're greeted in a friendly manner, drinks come out quickly, tables/chairs/booths/floors are clean. We never have to wait for a refill for sodas as they are always one step ahead. We enjoy the cute robot that brings our food.“
“Absolutely love this place! We've ordered countless times and the sushi is unwaveringly fresh and delicious. They also make these beautiful party trays that are an incredible value. Oh, and it seems to be run by great people, I've always ordered online for pickup and the staff is always kind and a pleasure to talk to.“
“They are such an adorable family run restaurant that always has amazing food!!! I live nearby and often walk over to get food and they are so welcoming! Im a big supporter of small businesses cause my family grew up with a small business so you can say i have an affinity maybe even a bias towards small mom n pop shops!“
“Their dumplings are a meal in itself. The absolute thickest dumplings I have found in the area and goes good with their legit chili oil dipping sauce. I would not be surprised if they handmade these themselves. I like their thick lomein noodles too.More of a "To-Go" place but they do have a few small tables you can eat at inside.“
“Superb food and great service. I have to even say the lighting and the atmosphere was really amazing too. Being able to actually feel like I was in Japan. The food is super affordable, and it was my first time, and I am now willing to make this a monthly, if not bi-monthly outing with the wife. I am extremely amazed at the food and the cleanliness and just the overall service they provided. I would totally recommend this location. It may be a tad bit out of the way to get to, but it's definitely well worth the gas money and time to drive to. You would thank me later because if you like authentic asian food, then this is, by far, the best I have ever eaten. I felt like I died and went to heaven 100 times over while I was there. You need to try this place out because if you don't, you seriously will be missing out on the best, most authentic, environmentally ambient time and experience you have ever asked in your entire life.“
“First time coming to this location, have tried some others nd I would say this ones one of the best we've been to so far. Food can use a bit more maintaining as some of the stuff sitting on the window seemed pretty dry from the heat so defenetly should be constantly stired or changed/refilled. Service was alright compared to the last location we visited??.“
“I love Chin Chins. They best Chinese food in town. Really affordable and when we lived on the west side, super fast delivery.. Don’t think about it, do it. You’ll thank me later :)Parking: About four spots available but there’s plenty of street parking so just be ready for that“
“I've been going here (well actually began eating at the original location next door) for over 25 years! It is my very favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the world! So sad to see it close! We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The family has always been so kind. Mai Village you will be greatly missed!“
“Pretty decent food in a convenient location. I was visiting one of the shops on arcade and did not notice this restaurant was here. It was kind of hidden. I think they need a sign on the sidewalk or something like that. But they had great service and good pho. The atmosphere was a chill vibe and it was kind of quiet. In my opinion the egg rolls and the beef Pho is a good combination“
“I've been here twice now, and every time we've been greeted like we're family. Sam was our server, and he went above and beyond to help me customize my order due to diet restrictions. He was very patient and nice. He made us feel welcomed and like family. The food is amazing. I always get the ChowFun and every time it's more amazing then the last time! Food is really seasoned and fresh never disappoints.“
“Excellent as always! It's been a long time since I've been there since I no longer live in the area and they never disappoint! Love the Vietnamese egg rolls and they have the best peanut sauce I've ever had. Also got the sautéed beef and potatoes plus the honey walnut shrimp, both were wonderful. I always stop when I visit the area and wish we had something as good as Thanh Truc where we live.“
“This is by far my favorite Chinese cuisine in MN. They also serve american food. Recommended by a friend. Portions are large to share, prices are reasonable, and the food is delish. I've been 3x with in a months span. 1st visit we had the sweet & sour chicken, Mongolian beef & chicken chow mein. Wow, the sweet & sour chicken is absolutely the best!!! 2nd trip, I had orange chicken-deish & had to get the sweet & sour chicken to go!!! 3rd & most recent we had S/S chicken & sezchuen chicken & chicken Parma. The sezchuan wasn't as good. Definitely Recommended. Service isn't the best, but the food is worth the lack of service. It's located in falcon heights/Roseville. If it was closer I would def be dining there on a regular basis!!! Bon Appétit“
“This is my go-to take out place. I usually get fried rice with one of the following: Thai basil beef, chicken with black bean sauce, chow mein, moo goo gai pan, or double cooked pork. All are delicious and full of flavor. When it asks for level of spiciness, I go with medium and its perfect each and every time. The cream cheese wontons are light and crispy. They only have take out and I love grabbing this on a Friday night after a long work week. Friendly staff. I hope you try No 1 New China and like it as much as I do!“
“Great Moon is still probably one of the better Asian buffets in the area. The downside is like everything else prices are up, quality of food is s down, and quantity of help is down. Crab legs are gone, replaced by craw fish ?. The quality of food is down too, new cooks?? Maybe just an off night, but 2 dinners with senior discounts and tax, almost $42, that does include beverage, pop or tea.“
“This was my first time coming here because I just moved here recently. I ordered some chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and egg foo yung. The food was so good, fresh, and reasonable compared to other restaurants. The front desk lady is so kind and welcoming. The service is really good and didn't take long for my order. I strongly recommend this place and I definitely will come back.“
“The closest we’ve ever come to bad food or service is … never. The food is delicious, hot, tasty, and wonderful. The service is top notch. It may because we order frequently, but the owner recognizes who we are (and even knows when we last ordered), and remembers our typical orders (we’re somewhat consistent in who gets what).I only rated the atmosphere as middling because it’s been ages since last there (most orders are to go) but I have fond memories of it & can only assume a place that makes magnificent food as an atmosphere to match.“
“A group of us went here for a friend’s birthday dinner. Our server was attentive and all the food was amazing! We shared a lot of different things. My favorite appetizers were the Szechuan dumplings, the cream cheese wontons, and the scallion pancakes! I also tried some lo mein which was pretty good. The chicken and broccoli was great - the chicken was very tender. Everything was really fresh and delicious. Plus they give you huge portions and the price is very reasonable! I will definitely be sure to come back here and try even more menu items!Dietary restrictions: I noticed that they had a lot of gluten free options on the menu!Parking: It’s located in a strip mall so the parking is somewhat limited.“
“I absolutely love this place! It’s our go to for nights I don’t want to cook! Extremely friendly service- they’ve gotten to know me & remember me so that makes me feel good!! Their food is delicious & I love supporting local business!“
“St. Paul skyway staple! Most people show up for the lunch deal which delivers a mountain of pretty good food at a solid price. I like to get their beef and meatball pho which is surprisingly great! For me, their broth is spot on and I just wish that they had more option for protein and fixins. One quirk is they the peppers they provide vary wildly in heat some days you get very mild jalapeños the next day you might get Serrano level heat. A very fun work lunch roulette, especially while eating with coworkers. The line is pretty long during the lunch rush, but it moves pretty quick.“
“Best Chinese food in America, hands-down, period!!!Consistently great food and the most amazing service.Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: My daughter loves this place and the ol gal that works there is always so kind.Parking: Easy parkingDietary restrictions: Whatevr you need“
“Food was hot and fresh from the kitchen. Service is "buffet" style behind a glass shield. You tell the associate what you want and they dish it up for you. They give ample portions and ask if your plate looks good, if yes you move down the line and pay, if not they add what you want more of. Prices are reasonable and associates were very polite! Love their lemon chicken, and the best Asian noodles in town. We always stop here when in St Paul!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionsParking: Shared parking lot with several other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open spaces between tables. Easy for wheelchairs to use tables.“
“Pretty good spot to grab casual Chinese fare. I recommend the Kung Pao chicken or tofu. Portions are very shareable so don't let the prices keep you from trying them out. I thoughy the Dan Dan noodles were a let down. Not enough sauce (though the sauce was quite good) and overcooked noodles (perhaps due to takeout and better ordered fresh). The scallion pancake is nice. Very thick and bready but tasty nonetheless. Great dipping sauce with that. Mongolian beef was a little watered down in flavor. Something I'd consider if in the neighborhood but not my first choice for Chinese-American.“
“About a month ago I was here with my dad and I had fried rice (I think chicken). It was delicious!!! I noticed more people were taking food to-go than actually dining-in. The portion was a good portion and the price was decent. My dads been coming here for a while and I can see why. I would totally recommending to give this place a shot. :)“
