Were here for an early dinner in a snowstorm on a Tuesday evening - a quiet night. But the service from Cheryl was exceptional and we all enjoyed our food - a walleye dinner, mac and cheese with kielbasa and chicken schnitzel. My sister ordered a side salad and it was lovely - we all kind of wished we'd ordered one too. Only thing was that the server said it was a $4 up charge and she was charged $5. Other than that, everything was great.
Stopped at Black Woods for lunch and the service was prompt and the place was spotless. They had a good drink and food selection. They even had us rate each each meal and drink we ordered which was a cool way for them to get extra feedback. The food was excellent!! I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and will order this the next time I'm there! If you're in Two Harbors, I'd recommend checking out Black Woods!

I have several food intolerances, at times it limits where I can eat. The waitstaff and kitchen staff were gracious and understanding. The food was terrific. I had the barbecued half chicken. My husband had the Thai chicken. We both would recommend either dish. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
