“All of the food is homemade, so it is very fresh. The deserts are from a bakery, but the desserts are still homemade. The waitress was very nice. The lemon meringue pie was excellent, I would recommend it. The grilled chicken Ceasar wrap was also delicious. Finally, all the prices were very reasonable.”

“What a treat! In a picturesque stone building immediately across the street from the famous Hubbell House, the Mantorville Saloon is a relaxed, laid—back bar with typical bar food to order. The walls are covered with pictures of local events and history, including a picture of an elegant stone building that used to be about a block away, which had most recently been a plumbing store. There is a very nice tent in the back for people who prefer to eat in the open air. Indoors is very nice, with ample room for social distancing. Ambiance might be typical of a century’s old bar, now with colored lights and televisions for those who want to follow the sports. For Viking’s games, there is a large roll-down screen to give everyone an excellent view.”

“Harolds is your typical small town Main Street bar with Off Sale beer and liquor. Cash only, no food, cold beer, stiff drinks, and local watching. We love it, but it ain't fancy.”

“Angie's was a pleasant surprise while passing through town. Good prices, good coffee, and the pizza was amazing. If there is such a thing as a 'minnesota style' pizza, Angie's is a perfect representative of it. Square cut, lots of cheese, and a fantastic crust. The bottom has almost a pancake quality to it (perhaps they use butter on the pan?), while the outer edge was a perfect balance of crispy and soft. The outer edges reminded me of a fried wonton. “The food here is so delicious! Everything we ordered was fabulous, but the crab rangoons were what really blew me away. They were bigger than at most places, included more filling, and had amazing flavor. Additionally, they were not overly greasy, and were fried to perfection. The sweet and sour sauce was very good, not thin and watery like other places I have been. My order was ready exactly when it was promised, and the staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I will be back! :)”

“This is a gem . From the service to the huge portions . It feels like going to grandmas house . I've never been disappointed. My son always gets extra treatment . From the hot chocolate to suckers after breakfast. We were the only table as we arrived just before closing at 11am. Be sure to bring cash . Check this place out .”

“The food here is great. They are a weekend spot (also open most Fridays, and some Thursdays too), and I'd say it's like Mexican food made for mid-westerners. They know their audience and cook for their pallets, so it's not overly spicy at all.”

“Pastor Roy from Living Waters church said I should check out our local restaurants and I'm sure glad I did. Fast service and exactly as expected at Subway today as an out of towner. Alyssa and Gabe, I believe the names are correct, had just handled five customers ahead of me and yet attended to my details with a loaded sandwich. I know management changes are always challenging but I'd come back for sure for these two and their great attitude today. I got what I paid for and like the expanded menu items of Subway. “I was at the subway in kenyon a few days ago, I'm so happy it's open again, the place looked so good! It was clean and neat and the service was fast and by a very nice employee. I don't know who's running that place now but kootos to them!”
