“Eating at the American Legion is special. It's a great place to bring your family and friends. The specials are always good and you can also order off their menu. Alcoholic drinks are available. There salad bar is small but with all the favorite things people like on the salad bar. There is a kids menu and a seniors menu also for those that want smaller portions. Friday night specials usually involve fish dinner which is declared to be fabulous by the regulars. They also have music later in the evening. The American Legion honors all the armed services and the Coast Guard. Give it a try for a great meal and friendly people.“
“Wow is all I can say. Wonderful! I am not a traveler. I truly try not to venture more than 100 miles from home. The staff here (Ree and Darby Specifically) we’re so friendly, attentive, and efficient that I can’t say enough about the service provided. My food came out hot and absolutely delicious ❤️ So shout out to the cooks in back. Everything was clean and fresh, a very positive environment! It takes a good crew to pull it off. “My family and I enjoyed gazing at the beautiful lake view while eating dinner. We were amazed how fast our food came out! My husband and I both ordered pasta; the best chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had! Our server was super sweet and efficient!Kid-friendliness: Perfect place for a family dinner! Everyone was very patient and polite to our 3 children.“
“Fantastic food! Diverse too. Great atmosphere! And the owners are kind and care about your opinions. They care about the community as well. The only thing is that they run out of this or that regularly. Totally understandable considering it's a small town and it's difficult to afford food waste.“
