“Absolutely adore this coffee shop. The coffee is incredible, the food menu is sizable for a small shop, and the decor makes you never want to leave. I have visited several times and if I lived in Winona I would be here daily. They’ve come so far since opening!“
“We were seated immediately. Order was taken in a timely fashion. Food was delicious. Waitress was very accommodating and checked on us to make sure everything was up to par. We used a coupon for buy one get one meal free which helps lower the price. Great place to dine.Parking: Lots of parking available for plenty of people dining at Perkins.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available and prices reasonable.“
“AMAZING BREAD!!! And amazing people who make the bread! We were visiting the area from Chicago and were googling things in the area and Castlerock Sourdough popped up. We stopped by around 11a on a Wednesday and there was one loaf left. As we were leaving someone was driving down from the house and told us there would be more fresh bread around 4:30p. So went back around 4:40p but no bread.... but then we saw someone waving us up to the house! We drove up and they invited us inside. We got to meet Britta, her daughter and other colleagues making the bread and pulling it straight out of the oven! Such amazing wonderful people and so exciting to see them at their craft and my gawd it smelled amazing! We got the seven grain, cinnamon raisin and jalapeño cheddar loafs and as we were chatting away with Britta we got to talking about how it was our wedding anniversary - she gave us a small loaf as a gift! The bread is absolutely perfection and you can taste the love and passion put into it! Stopping by the hut for bread is an absolute MUST if you're even within an hour of it! And there are also picnic tables up by the house if you'd like to have a picnic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! (No pictures to share as from leaving the house to our car each of the loaves we had already torn into and started eating hahaha)“
“Rosemary is a delightful woman who is very kind and patient. We made the most beautiful breads, sourdough and Milwaukee Sauerkraut Rye. We were sent home with a sourdough starter as well. While we were waiting for our breads to bake she served us a charming snack tray with wine. I look forward to going back to learn how to bake different kinds of bread.“
“Was in town visiting family, stopped on my way home to pick up some goodies for home. The price was expensive for donuts that aren't filled. I purchased an assorted dozen. The gal assisting me was fairly new as she didn't seem to know what box to choose. She said what I ordered wouldn't fit in one box and I'd be charged for another box. Another employee was assembling boxes and told her that was not correct but didn't offer to assist her. I waited quite a while for her to switch everything to a different box.Dietary restrictions: There is no info showing they use organic ingredients which is something I'd like to see in the future.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessibility. There are stairs going into the front door. There is a side window but it says it's for pick up only and is pretty high for someone in a wheelchair in my opinion.“
