“The food was excellent! Perfect temperature for everything.I think this place is MUCH better than the BBQ place down the street. The restaurant itself is very simple. But, the food & service is so much better. The owner came by at the end of our meal to make sure we were happy & that speaks volumes!Try Smoke & Bones!“
“Very cute little venue.. we just ended up taking our drinks to go.The barista was very friendly, but was either trained incorrectly or not long enough. She did not make the iced mocha correctly, and she gave me coffee that she said was medium roast; but I believe it was dark because it was incredibly bitter and strong. The cookie we ordered was good, however I believe it would have been better served hot. All in all, a very cute little coffee shop. But maybe they need to go over an employee review on how to properly make their coffee.“
“This is the perfect small town coffee shop! The flavors are amazing and so is the quality. The people that own this are just the sweetest! My coffee came out faster than it would at a chain coffee place and the quality was far better! Would absolutely recommend.“
“This was very first time eating here. The cuisine is excellent! I had the lunch special, Generals chicken for $10.99. Fast, gracious, attentive service once you are seated. However, they never even made eye or greeted me upon arrival, or after sitting down. Make sure you initiate it or you may be "waiting to be seated" for awhile lol.“
“Stellar Hog is always our go to for BBQ! So much so that we had our wedding reception there. Carnivore or vegetarian… there is something for everyone! Great patio, great dinning room (sometimes with live music), cold drinks, and amazing food… what more could you ask for?“
“The pretzels are delicious! They are warm, soft, buttery and have just a hint of sweetness. There are some great dips but they are so good I prefer them just warm out if the oven. This visit we had the pepperoni pizza pretzelachee. It was filled with cheese and pepperoni and a delicious sauce with just the right amount that it was not messy. We placed our order ahead of time and it was ready when we arrived fresh out of the oven. Also picked up two party packs for a family Easter party. We warmed the bites in the oven for about 3 minutes and they disappeared in about the same amount of time. Definitely my favorite pretzel of any found in the area!“
“Love the Malt Shop and thrilled they have opened for the season! A simple hometown kind of burger and ice cream stand, they serve up a fantastic orange freeze, root beer floats, concretes, sundaes, shakes and tasty apps and burgers. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and make ordering a breeze once you settle on your delicious choice. There are a couple seats close to the building, but most of the time we eat in the car or take food home. Go and enjoy a refreshing treat or try the pork fritter sandwich. You won't regret it!“
“Today was my first visit at Perk It Up! The owner is very sweet (we had a great discussion about Education). I’ll definitely be coming in more often! The S’Mores Latte is delicious! I’d definitely recommend coming in and supporting a local coffee shop!“
“We’re regulars, but last night celebrated our wedding after party at Hummel’s. Dawn made sure we had some of our favorite beer and that she’d stocked up on what everyone would want. She started campfires, helped make our sparkler entrance happen, and even surprised us with fireworks. This is the kind of bar you trust with this special of a day.“
“This is an awesome place. Brother in law took us out here, got there right before they closed. It's a nostalgic place, you park and then walk up and order, there are lots of metal benches and tables to enjoy your treat. So creamy and delicious. So many options to choose from!! Will def be coming back.“
“I've been coming here long enough without including a review that I felt it was time.I moved away from the area many years ago and recently moved back and started exploring the St. Louis craft scene. Perennial did not exist when I left, but several folks whom I work with recommended the spot.I don't always love the styles that Perennial presents, but can appreciate the consistency and representation of the style that is brewed by the company. You can tell that the quality is excellent and that Perennial is putting its signature on the beer. The taproom takes up the entire bottom floor of a loft building and has a cool vibe. There is a large outdoor area that is wonderful during warm weather and firepits for when it is chilly outside. Inside, there are ample amounts of seating options. What really sells the place for me is the staff. I typically travel around with my family and they always treat my kids very well. You can tell that the owners or brewers have children and bring them around here as it is equipped for kids to have some enjoyment as well. Particular highlights of staffing include Emily and Peggy, but everyone has been excellent.“
“We LOVE this place. Their menu of flavors is super fun and unique, and the additional toppings (like pop rocks, OMG cake topping, and whipped cream!) are the best. You can’t get anything boring here ever. Maddie (excuse the spelling if it’s incorrect!) is our favorite. We love seeing her and chatting when we visit, and she always helps us decide what we want, and answers all of our questions when we are curious about flavors. It’s our go-to place for sure & we can’t get through the summer without it! **EDIT** AND THEY HAVE PUNCH CARDS FOR FREE SNO-CONES AND DISCOUNTS!!!!“
“This was the best pizza I've had in a while. The crust is what did it for me. A little crisp with some chew. It has flavor by itself, not just a bland base like a lot of places. The toppings were good, too.I had the Philly Cheesesteak and loved it.We had our pies in about 5 minutes, which was great because I can get impatient when I'm hungry.Since there's no dine-in option, we just parked in the big parking lot and had a little impromptu tailgate dinner date.Looking forward to our next visit.“
“While wandering around St. Louis, I found myself around the hill and thought Italian thats what I wanted for dinner. And could I remember the name of the place a friend told me about? "Onesto!" I shouted in my car, and I was off. Onesto is a small Italian place nestled in the Princeton Heights neighborhood; it is completely surrounded by residential houses. While I walked up, I was greeted by a little Sinatra and a smiling hostess. She led me right to a small table by a window, perfect for gazing out into the street. A small plate of garlic knots magically appeared and were just about right, lots of garlic, butter, and salt. Might had scarfed down the whole plate before drinks, and like magic, more appeared. I had the house sangria, which I can't remember what it was, but it was very tasty. Then the waitress took my order. I had the cannelloni, which was stuffed with beef and pork in a tomato cream sauce and topped with mozzarella. It was delicious. It came with an overflowing Caesar salad and more garlic knots. After that wonderful meal, I was too full for dessert and headed home. Overall, great little Italian place, food hit the spot, and the service was great.“
“The food was below par but everything else was great. I got a table right away and was served by Kaitlyn. If you are able to request being in her section, do it! I was never worried about waiting to oder and when I did, my drink came very soon after. I got the garlic French dip and I think it's over priced for how little good lean meat you get. A few bites had too chewy of fat. Half of the homemade chips were crispy so that was nice, but I would've loved every chip to be able to break in half and not bend.Still, you should go and give this place a shot!“
“I really enjoyed this place. Turned out to be a great weather day and I think many folks decided to go out for lunch. They were unexpectedly swamped, but handled it. The wait for food was 20 minutes, however still very well executed. We had the wings, which were smoked and then transferred into hot wings, yum. Smokey, juicy, and tender with a nice heat in the sauce. My wife had the SLU High Brisket sandwich and I had the Foxhole cheesesteak. Both sandwiches had smokey, tender, and juicy meats with crispy onion straws and fried jalapeños. She ordered sweet potato fries which I tasted and wished I ordered over the regular crinkle cut fries from the freezer that I thought were meh at best. With really good sandwiches, I would offer equal quality sides, this would be my only fault for not awarding 5 stars. Still, even though they were inundated with guests, service was great and I would highly recommend you visiting there.“
“Hard to review. Very "pub" vibe, but the food is more like Olive Garden, or maybe Pasta House. There was a 30 minute wait, on a Friday evening, so as expected. A little overpriced, but the portions are HUGE. Emily the server was sweetheart. They have a rather expensive 12 oz sirloin that i almost want to try just to see if it's worth the cost. TV's everywhere; maybe a good place to watch a game. I might go back, but on a weeknight when it's not so busy. Live music while we were there though!“
“I’ve been coming to Coco’s since they opened late last year. I have LOVED everything i’ve had. The bravo-cado is my absolute favorite thing to get for lunch. I highly reccomend their holiday themed drinks, they’re amazing. They use Kaldi’s coffee so everything is quality coffee. They have the sweetest staff too, Annie is always so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend checking them out!“
