Food was REALLY GOOD. No complaints in that area. I ordered two oxtail plates with three sides. The prices on the menu did not match up how much I paid. I saw the +$5 additional (cool no problem) assuming I’m paying no more that $65 for two plates. He ended up adding $20 onto my order. He said that oxtails went up after quoting me $82 for two plates! Ridiculous you’re in the hood head busting us! Cmon man! I got one oxtail per plate that was so fatty to disguise with the gravy. I support black business but do people right who is supporting. If you’re gonna charge that much you should be located in chesterfield where the rent is super high, but Berkeley, cmon now!

My food was good,40 for a piece of boneless supposed to be stuffed with spinach n sour cream . It was placed on top of a the skeet boneless chicken. Worst experience ever. Half piece of meat with too much sides. I can't believe it ?. Messed up my Valentines

This place is so ducked off that I almost didn't believe I was in the right spot picking up an UBEREATS order. When I walked in, the smell hit me and my stomach immediately started growling, so I asked the young man(I later found out he was the owner lol) if there was anything ready for sale otg since I'm delivering and he suggested the mostaccioli ? ...I smashed it so fast lol and they offer all types of soul food dishes-i gotta go back for more frfr
I've been there twice. Each time I've had the Fried Pork Chop meal with 3 sides. Delicious. I can never complain about the food. However, I gave the service 4 stars due to them being so busy they've run out of my favorite desserts and the wait is longer than it should be.Parking: Not enough of it close to the restaurant. Again do to how busy it is .

Listen… when I say they treat you like vip and family at the same time the food was delicious the banana pudding broke the chain sweet potatoes perfectly made.. it was so worth it .. and I tasted the food and had to have them cater for Xmas n he came alll the way thru ..and the family loved it ..okay..
