I want to give great praise to Mandela's Soul Food Cafe. Mandela and his staff catered our family Re-Pass Celebration, truly a professional establishment, the food was totally amazing and his preparation and presentation was truly awesome and our family thanks Mandela's Soul Food Cafe for everything. If you are looking to enjoy soul food that the CHEF puts their soul into it, you need to dine at Mandela's today. Again thank you for everything Mandela's.
The food was OK and the service is good. Buyer beware make sure if you order for take out make sure all your food is there before leaving. I'll try it again and give it another try.

Food was REALLY GOOD. No complaints in that area. I ordered two oxtail plates with three sides. The prices on the menu did not match up how much I paid. I saw the +$5 additional (cool no problem) assuming I’m paying no more that $65 for two plates. He ended up adding $20 onto my order. He said that oxtails went up after quoting me $82 for two plates! Ridiculous you’re in the hood head busting us! Cmon man! I got one oxtail per plate that was so fatty to disguise with the gravy....read full review
