It had been several years since our last visit to Zarda BBQ. It was as good as we remembered. Food was delicious, portions generous, & cost reasonable for what you get. Great background music from the 70's and very friendly counter staff made this a fantastic visit. Plus they have Pepsi products!!!
Hot take: This is the best BBQ in KC. Always consistent. Always a good value. Great sandwich specials. It takes a special kind of restaurant to be able to serve 2 to 200 people at a drop of a hat and have it be amazing. Best: Brisket, burnt ends, onion rings, pit beans. Unique: Fried Mushrooms, a true smoked turkey, seasonal apple bbq sauce available in the fall.Here on a BBQ tour? Was in Blue Springs on 4-13-24, so I decided to hit Zarda's BBQ drive thru for a brisket sandwich.Usually the sandwich, which is $17 after tax, is tender, lean, and flavorful.
