Normally the food is on point but tonight we got the open faced roast beef and the Greek salad wit chicken. The roast beef was not the normal juicy and tender we remember. It was tuff and looked like the pre-sliced stuff for sandwiches that was heated up. It was certainly not melt in your mouth like we've had on previous occasions.

husband had the lasagne. He said it was good. He got the salad bar with it. All good. I got the gyro plate. It was wonderful. Have tried 3 other places in mid-Missouri and think this is the best gryo out there. Meat & sauce were well seasoned & cooked just right. good fresh pita. However was surprised it only came with 1 pita bread. Was disappointed no grape leaves appeared on the menu. I chose the Greek salad for a side. It was very good. Place really is not handicap accessible. Sign on door offers portable ramp if requested, but the bathrooms are not really accessible and do not have any grab bars.Wheelchair accessibility: they will provide a ramp to get in the place upon request, but bathrooms are really not accessible.

Cozy diner in downtown Boonville. We stopped on the way home from Columbia, MO for dinner one night; cheerful atmosphere and a wide variety of dinner options. I ordered the French Swiss sandwich with steak fries- it was delicious! We went home with half our meal because the portions were huge!Menu complete with local Missouri wines as well.

We had the wife of the owner wait on us. She was most in friendly. Short with us, like she really didn’t want to wait on us. Salad bar was minimal selections and was soaked in water. Livers had old grease smell. The chicken wrap tasted good but the chicken was dry and old. Would not recommend the extra miles. It took to get off I 70.

Went here on a whim. The gyro meat and tzatziki were delicious. The atmosphere is dated but it was very clean and friendly.I was so hungry and the food was so good I ate it before I took a picture ?They will be closed through the first week of September 2023, so make that note!

The menu is large with a healthy, Greek flair. There were many traditional American diner foods as well. I had the Greek Fries which was really, really good. It was well worth the short drive from I-70 to get way from the fast food joints. We were charging our electric car at Walmart when we decided to look around for a little better quality food. We found it at The Palace.
