“I would absolutely agree with the recognition the locals have given this excellent restaurant.Our meals included the Hot and Sour Soup, the fabulous Shrimp Rangoon, Generals Tso’s Chicken, my favorite the Chop Suey and a dish that only people that have lived in Missouri probably know about, the “Springfield Style Cashew Chicken.”We all ordered Hot and Sour Soup. The waitress asked if we had ever had it here, because it is a “little different” she said. She brought out a sample for us to try. It was different. It was very good, but I would call it Hot and slightly Sweet Soup! The Shrimp Rangoon was the most crispy, delightful wontons we have ever had! The Chop Suey was perfect. The General Tso’s Chicken was a little different. The sauce had some tomato base to it. It was not oily or syrupy, a really nice flavor.Then there was the Springfield Style Cashew Chicken. This Dish originated at Leong's Tea House in Springfield, MO. Instead of stir-fried chicken, it is deep-fried then covered with a sauce made from chicken stock, soy sauce and oyster sauce, topped off with cashews and green onions.Nice, friendly staff providing very good service.This review was previously posted on Yelp by Spike Speedwell“

“Las Brisas is definitely one of the better Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the Molcajete Las Brisas. It's a unique and delicious dish that's sure to please.Parking: The parking lot is a bit strange, but they've done the best possible job to maximize parking spaces.“
“One of favorite local dining spots in Cape Girardeau. Always a consistent great experience. Good serve, good food and good atmosphere. A special shout out to Amy one of our favorite waitresses. It’s always good to show up and be remembered by those who wait on tables. Always professional and ensuring we are doing well. We never have to wait to have our glasses refilled.“
