“There are a few locations that I trust with my tacos. And sadly, that list is getting smaller and smaller. But this place. This place has done them right everytime for years. Every time we come here, not only are we just amazing at the quality of the meat and the freshness of the food, we are shocked at how cheap it is. Go to Taco Bell and get a taco for the SAME PRICE as an authentic taco from here.Don't waste your time with other locations, just come here and have great foodDietary restrictions: Kosher“
“Had fish tacos lunch w charro beans - wife had lunch pork tamale w chicken soft taco - super yummo! Always great service, food and drinks.Wow! Chips and salsa were yummo - but the hot salsa and guacamole salsa were awesome, Rocio took incredible care of us - what a great personality. If you want authentic Hispanic food you better get here!“
“It seems like every time our family celebrates a birthday, we ALL choose Mi Torito! Every time we have a party of 12-17 people and the staff are more than happy to ensure that we are taken care of from beginning to end with great food and service.“
“Food is so good. We love going because our kids will eat all of their meals. However, The last time we went there was a soccer game on and our server was hard to find unless we went into the other room to let him know we needed water. This is unusual and did make us feel disappointed because we know how much better it can be.“
“I love this place! I think we got the same server the last couple times we went and he’s the best one we’ve ever had anywhere. He doesn’t speak much English (you wouldn’t know that unless you talked to him about non-food related topics) but he’s really sweet and helpful. He seems to come check on you at just the right moment every time. Very professional and friendly. The food was great as usual and we enjoy coming here.“
“A very nice place to eat.Great food, friendly staff & nice atmospher.Vegetarian options: They offer easy to find vegetarian selections, one I can remember is the delicious vegetarian quesadilla, one of my fave dishes (they’ve been ‘temporarily closed’ for quite a while).“
“Speedy Burritos has good food at a good price! The service is excellent! You may have a primary server, but it really seems like everyone works together to make sure you're well taken care of. And the name "speedy" is very fitting! For my own amusement (and the amusement of the friend who recommended Speedy Burritos), I clocked them from the time we walked in to the time our food hit the table at just under 10 minutes. Half the time I can't get fast food that fast! So, for good Mexican food that is either on par or out paces any fast food joint in price, speed, and service, Speedy Burritos is a great choice!“
“This Mexican restaurant is one of the BEST in the JOPLIN,MO area. It is a few blocks out side of the JOPLIN,MO area. Off of 7th street. The HOT delicious food and uplifting gorgeous atmosphere w/ beautiful yellow walls w/ decorations makes this a definite go to. The sincerely friendly service made this a great experience for me. The $1.99 Monday margarita is excellent !Very reasonably priced $. THANK YOU !!!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room for a wheel chair setting. one level. So many vegetarian dishes.“
“We've gone quite a few times, this has become our go-to Mexican restaurant. The service is always great, one waiter even remembers my wife's order and her not being able to have cheese. Excellent service, excellent food.Dietary restrictions: Ordering substitutions, such as no cheese, is easy, and they are very accommodating.“
“The best Tex-Mex food I have found in this area. Very similar to hole-in- the- wall Tex-Mex restaurants found in West Texas or Eastern New Mexico. I enjoyed the beef fajita quesadillas. Good price with large portion sizes. Will definitely try again when I am near Galena.“
“The food was amazing. We ordered takeout, and it was a rather large order. And they waited until I got there to make the tacos and serve the chips so everything was fresh. The cashier was kind and very helpful. Everyone in our family thought the food was great. 10/10 we will go again.“
“O. M. Goodness. La comida BEST. Vegetarian Quesadilla is The Best with lots of fresh vegetables it rivals only one other restaurant in the United States, which you would have to drive 1500 miles to find. New location es perfecto. Our server was Brendy. While she is new, and still learning, she did a fantastic job and we will be back!!!“
“This may be the OG but I was really disappointed with my order today. Burrito was fantastic but my side of rice which was almost $4 was terrible. I honestly thought it was refried beans at first. Rice didn’t look like rice. Almost looked like quinoa. Parts of it was way over seasoned to the point it tasted like raw jalapeño (just clumps of seasoning or something). Plus there was so much grease on top. I feel this was pre-packaged and sitting under a heat lamp. The cheese was brown and not fresh either which I think caused so much grease.Overall a really good place to eat, but for the cost then quality of my rice, that wasn’t worth it. These prices are like that of McDonalds or Starbucks. $10 for a burrito and side of rice. It’s good, but not that good. Lower prices and I’ll come back or increase the quantity or quality of product. Still recommending people to go there I just personally won’t for a while.“
“The first time I tried to have dinner there it was like walking into the twilight zone the way everyone looked at us like my and my family was from another planet!! And the second time was better but we felt cramped up the restaurant needs to be back into its old building where there was plenty of room for more people and where not hitting eachothers elbows !!! Other than that food is delicious ( especially the cheese dip ?Parking: Just very little parkingKid-friendliness: They are very nice to kids makes them feel welcome ?“
“(story at the end) Jan. 27 - Wow! This place is amazing! Definitely not your typical La Fiesta. You walk in and get in a line, then you tell the person in front of you what you want and what you would like on it, and wow. I have never had Mexican Food Like this! Now for the story... I was with my grandma and my cousin, and we where in line getting food. We struck up this conversation with a father and his son, and he asked if we have ever been here before, and we said no. (We are from a small town near Fort Smith) He continued to make his food and we did too. When we got to the end of making our food, the cashier told us "You see that kind man right there? He paid for y'all's food." I turned around and the dad and son went out the door. If he is reading this right now, thank you! We came up here with a little bit of money to go on a Girls Trip, and you really helped us! Tell me that's not the Lord working his magic. We could've gone to any other restaurant, but we went there. We could've stood in front of any other person, but he was there. We just want to say thank you!??“
“Okay there's a thousand Mexican restaurants to choose from and this is one of the first times I've ever been offered two different types of hot sauce with my chips and they were both awesome. On top of that my enchiladas were top three favorite I've ever had. Served with actual pieces of meat on top of the enchilada in the sauce as well as inside and were incredibly fresh.“
“My wife and I had been busy all day and didn't have time to make supper. I had just received an email offering a BOGO on entrees expiring today. Perfect timing and the Chicken Homewrecker Burrito hit the spot. We always love the music that is played. It completes a relaxing and memorable experience.“
“Service is always fast, and friendly. It feels like you are family here. Food is really delicious. Authentic, made from scratch. Great portion size. Really great price. Weekend prices are just a few cents more expensive than lunch specials. The place has plenty of parking. Easy access to street. The inside is clean and modern. Lots of TVs to watch.Doordash is available!“
“OMG...What an experience me and my date had here. The chips was amazing and hot and I can't remember chips that good. The salsa was great but with the chips exceptional. We ordered the blackened chicken fajitas with extra setup and this is my new go to fajitas. We ordered the white queso and we don't get this good of queso even in Northwest Arkansas. The food was just an amazing experience. Our server name was Hayden, if you get a chance and you like great service when you come in ask for this guy. This guy never stops and he's always taking care of what you need at your table. The food was a great experience but with the service made this the best restaurant experience I've had in over 20 years easy. Next time we want Mexican food we will drive 60 miles to eat here from Northwest Arkansas.“
“Gringos is the best at what they do here in Joplin.I've have a long term relationship with their yummy food.It was my sister's HS job; then became my daughters HS job.Prices have risen considerably, though;good thing their Beef Quesadilla is big enough for 2 ppl.“
“I've been a frequent flyer here for a couple years and absolutely love it! Food is served hot and fresh at each dine in. Service is top notch! Really couldn't ask for a better Mexican restaurant! Fajitas are the bomb and can't go wrong with the ACPC!“
“Great food and great service. We eat here quite a bit. I've been craving ceviche and I ordered the shrimp cocktail. It was made more like a ceviche shrimp gazpacho, except the shrimp were whole (+feshly cooked and cooled). The base was some kind of shrimp-spicy tomato juice-cocktail sauce-Pico blend. It would make a killer brunch bloody mary. I highly recommend trying this place.Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian but there is a small selection of flavorful vegetarian options.Parking: If the lot is full you can bet the restaurant is too.Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair access“
