Restaurantji's guide to Mount Vernon's top Mexican dining experiences.
“We have ate lunch and dinner here multiple times as well as take out a few times. The food is always hot and fresh, with warm chips and yummy salsa. Everyone is friendly, smiling and right there ready to get me food. Restaurant is clean and smells clean too!“
“Wife has allergies to many food items. The Taco Bell in Mt Vernon, MO happily made what she asked for , the way she asked with no problems. We've been to other taco bells and they would tell her they couldn't do it.Because of this attitude, we had stopped going to Taco Bell. We will return to this one“
“Literally love Las Palmas, tonight I was craving the shrimp quesdilla and usually when I do a pick up order it's soggy, but tonight I asked if they could put a paper towel down under it and they happily did. This made my day and I really appreciate the server going above and beyond!!“
“The food is great! Unique flavor. My husband and I tried the Papusas and they are something we've never tried, they were really good and they came with a homemade slaw that was very different but good! The atmosphere and staff are very nice as well.“
“The food was really really good, good flavor.seasoned perfectly. I got the 8oz ribeye & a grilled chicken breast w peppers/onions for $16 & salsa & chips were so good.they had steak/chicken/beef enchiladas for $1.50 lunch special..food was hot.I've tried both mexican restaurants in Mt Vernon & this one is so far better in flavor & the big portions of food is great & the price. Definitely will come back.“
