I wanted to like it. As a BBQ judge and competitor, I like BBQ. There was just something about it that turned me off to it. The Buffalo wings are dang good and the cole slaw is the best I've had and I do recommend those. I've been back for the wings. Will give the Q another shot one day.

I think their success has lead them to lower their quality. We've been going here for years and we've had a few service/food hiccups, but never have I contemplated not going back. The ribs use to be spot on perfectly smoked while being fall off the bone moist/tender. Now twice they have been over smoked to the point of being bitter tasting and almost as dry as jerky. Being over smoke might be from a dirty smoker or someone uneducated in the art of smoking, I'm unclear as to the reason. The sides were twice baked potatoe casserole and baked beans which were both greasy tasting. I'm not sure how you make potatoes tasty greasy but they accomplished it. The saving grace was the pulled pork. The pulled pork wasn't bad it just didn't taste a good as it has for the decade+ we've been getting BBQ from here. I really hope they realize all the quality issues they're having and right the ship before it's uncorrectable.

Ordered the dinner plate 2 meat paid the extra for brisket with onion ring (onion straws) and coleslaw. Everything on the plate was on point. The only complaint was inside was a little on the cold side, and the atmosphere was just ok.
Pretty good food but seems a bit pricey. No longer our first choice for smoked meats. That's a shame. It's small and sometimes tricky to get in and out of. Parking lot is iffy to back out of the spots into incoming traffic. It simply isn't the first thought when we want to get barbeque locally.

Traveling I-49 N, read 4.5 stars for this restaurant, and decided to give it a try. Ordered chopped brisket, twice baked potato casserole, and baked beans. Customer service was great, cashier was polite and friendly. Brisket had good smoked flavor however the portion was small and contained fatty pieces of meat. Sides were okay, nothing special. Overall 4 stars for this visit.
