“We went this evening for Valentine’s dinner and everything was fantastic - the food and the staff. I ordered the Beef Fillet Oscar (from the Valentine’s Day menu) and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. We also got the gougères and they were SO good - cheesy and herby and fluffy. I really liked the atmosphere too - I was worried I would feel a little out of place but despite the fanciness of the food, it felt really welcoming! “Would give 6 stars if possible!! This was a whole new level of flavor and detail in food. All the BBQ meats were excellent, expertly marinated (but not wet) and with subtle but very present smokiness. The sauces were all amazing, especially the really spicy ones. Homemade tortillas, sweet broccoli salad with cotija, carefully handcrafted beverages, super friendly and knowledgeable staff... JUST WOW!!! And next-day leftovers were top-notch too! ?“
“I'm not a huge beer girl but I really enjoy going to Broadway Brewery and experimenting. I like their sours. I usually like to go in a group or on a date and everybody I've taken here has had a great time. The place is really nice and it's amazing to go on a beautiful day when they have the garage door open. My experience with the bartenders is great. I also want to add that if you're not big into beers or sours, they still do mixed drinks.“
“Excellent evening at this restaurant. We had reservations and the restaurant was full. Celebrated a family birthday and all was perfect! Starters included the meat board and pimento cheese with crackers. Excellent! Our waitress, Jasmine, was so good at guiding our selections and describing the meat board. Thoroughly enjoyed our entrees, brined pork chops with greens and grits, potato gnocchi with short ribs and pasta with sausage and mushrooms. The grits were the best we've ever had and the greens were spicy and so full of flavor! Dessert did not disappoint either..the table shared a flourless chocolate and almond cake and a pavlova with lemon curd. Perfect amount for the 4 of us. You are never disappointed at this fine establishment. Can't wait to come back and see what the chefs have created.“

“So I have eaten here several times. The service is always great. Their is one server possibly a host I always miss his name which is terrible of me but he is wonderful. He's courteous and the cooks do phenomenal every time I order regardless of what I get. Please pass this off to your staff who is working there tonight 12/19/23.“
“Fantastic experience. I traveled from Minnesota, and the bartender was super friendly, fun, and treated us like old friends. The hotel is STUNNING, I wish I could’ve been married here. Highly recommend this to anyone as the hotel is something out of the Great Gatsby, and fun. Highly recommend to anyone.“
“If I could give more stars for service, I would!!! I placed an order through doordash this evening, even paid the extra fee to have it priority delivered. When it arrived, we were missing all 3 entrées. I called the driver, he told me there was only one bag for the order. I called El Oso and they told me there were 2 bags with the order and that I should contact doordash. Right after I hung up, I immediately got a call back from El Oso saying the other bag had been left there. I wish I could remember his name, but the gentleman who called me back told me he'd be willing to bring the rest of the order himself! I tried to tip him and he was so kind he just wouldn't take it. It's by far the nicest, well above and beyond thing that any restaurant has ever done for me! Thank you so much to the team at El Oso, you all are amazing!!!“
“I ate here alone on a work trip this week and it was amazing! I sat at the bar and the bartender's service was outstanding. He was so welcoming and attentive and helped me make a decision without seeming the least bit annoyed with how many questions I asked. The vibe is casual but definitely nicer than sweats and hoodies. The food and cocktail menu was so different and fun and I wanted to try everything on it. But I went with a glass of Cabernet and the bolognese and they were both amazing. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.“
