“I ate here alone on a work trip this week and it was amazing! I sat at the bar and the bartender's service was outstanding. He was so welcoming and attentive and helped me make a decision without seeming the least bit annoyed with how many questions I asked. The vibe is casual but definitely nicer than sweats and hoodies. The food and cocktail menu was so different and fun and I wanted to try everything on it. But I went with a glass of Cabernet and the bolognese and they were both amazing. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.”

“I have a newfound love and appreciation for Polish food after eating here. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Do yourself a favor and order the Bigos. It was a food memory for me and my boyfriend—warm, comforting, and delicious. We ordered the sampler plate for 2 and got a little of everything. My boyfriend said the polish sausage was the best he’d ever eaten. All the stars and thumbs up for this little gem of a restaurant.”

Alanna helped us welcome everyone in classic Missouri style with the best gooey butter cake, cookies and cupcakes! Four families were able to become homeowners because of this event and we could not have done it without everyone coming together! Kind staff, professional and delicious bakery, community focused:10/10 recommend!”

“G&D is a solid diner. What I would say about them is that they exceed expectation for the price, making them an excellent value in my book. I do the fried mushroom appetizer, a salad, burger and fries. They have a mean Philly cheesesteak as well. You will probably also crave their chicken strips again if you try them. The staff is friendly. I plan on giving their steak another try. I had a bite of my wife's steak and it wasn't bad, but I didn't regret not ordering it either. But I'd like to try one that is cooked medium rare before I give a real opinion.”

“These tacos were fantastic. They were also very expensive however. It took quite some time for us to get our tacos and margaritas, then the margaritas came out warm and very syrupy. I got the steak, carnitas, birria. They were each very good and topping them with the salsa bar items was a nice touch. The inside was very dingy and dark. I would suggest getting takeout. I would come here again for the tacos but the price, margaritas and atmosphere of the restaurant are holding this place back.”

“Went here on Easter for a dinner date. Service and food was amazing! I had the hot ham and cheese and the biscuit and jelly was a great touch. My only gripe is that I was not expecting thick chunks of ham, it was a little tough. Regardless, amazing place and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.”

“Dropped into Big Daddy’s for dinner on a work trip and it did not disappoint. We were late to try the brisket (sold out), but the ribs, pulled pork and sides were absolutely delicious. The owner (Lloyd) capped it off by spending some time at the table, making the visit memorable. When we’re back in town, we’ll be visiting Big Daddy’s again!!”

“Yes, I recommend HA. Becuz we had a group of 10 folks, they enabled us to reserve a table. Good thing we did since it was packed when we arrived. Despite being their busiest night yet, the customer service was outstanding. They let us move to a quiet space and continued to serve/check on us all night. They had pre-selected 6 games for our group that were great choices. A fantastic night and we’ll be back!”

“First time I’ve been here and it was a great experience! I got a milk tea which was delicious and some Philly rolls which were also great. From the time I ordered at the kiosk to when I walked out the door with my order was probably only 10 minutes and that was with only one lady working. The price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend!”

I recommend the beef hibachi, but everything I've tried has been very good.While I was there they carried another customer's food to her car in the rain because she was having difficulty walking. They seem to genuinely care about their customers.”

“Staff was very friendly, but our server wasn't very attentative. She wasn't bad, but seemed more concerned with getting her closing sidewalk done instead of taking care of customers. Ittooka while for us to be able to order, she never came back for a "2-bite check" I had to put my glass at the very edge of the table for her to notice I needed a refill, and she didn't pre-bus. But our food however, was delicious. The ribs were fall off the bone, had quite a bit more sauce on it than needed....but I could easily scrape it off. My friend had the sesame Tuna. The flavor was great, was barely on the dry side....but still very good. Unfortunately, they don't really have a dessert menu...just a brownie. But for dessert, I had the blackberry Margarita and the bar tender did an excellent job. A little strong (which I like) and the flavor was yummy.”

“Southside pizza was such an amazing experience. My friends and I were craving some good food at midnight and we were able to call south side. The man on the other end of the phone was so nice and patient with us as we asked him questions about the menu. When I tell you this food was amazing I mean it. This is what I imagine they greet you with at heavens gates. Pepperoni was AMAZING. Fries were AMAZING. Also good quality ranch. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent food! I have always had a great experience. My body craves that lephet thoke (green tea salad) at least twice a month. Sweet and Sour Tiger Pork level 4... is da bomb! Pad Thai is excellent also. I don't do curries, but I have heard they are the best here. My go to place for great flavor and tender chicken! I miss the sushi they had for a limited time. it was soooo good!”

“Great place for a German pub in Downtown Columbia, with the flags of the European countries Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, as well as the United States. I came here with my family 2 1/2 weeks ago for my birthday lunch, because we were going to see my sister and brother-in-law and open Christmas presents at their place in Boonville.They don't have much food to offer. But their Bretzels were delectable, especially topped with a few different sweet and savory spreads! So were their Liège Waffles, my main course! As a special birthday bonus, our waitress offered me an extra Bretzel instead of an alcoholic drink. I do NOT drink alcohol, you see. So my extra Bretzel with some whipped cream made the perfect alternative.”

“grits were lumpy dry and cold , my eggs were WAYYYY under cooked.. when I asked them to fix this, I was yelled at by the cook and the waitress got mouthy and rude. every single table was dirty , restaurant dirty, .. no reason for it to be dirty when there was only one table occupied in the entire place TERRIBLE customer service. I'm a BIG tipper but I want my food correct and hot . I was going to tip the waitress 30 dollars because she looked stressed but not after she got an attitude over me saying my food wasn't right and it was cold.. the cook and waitress were gossiping about other employees which is way unprofessional especially in front of customers..”

“A group of is went to this McDonald's because we were hungry amd needed something to eat. When we walk in, there was someone smoking a joint and staring at us intensely. It was very clean and friendly. When we go to sit down there was someone very clearly not in the right headspace and not sober. We ate our food, and noticed the guy came in and was hovering over our table. We left very quickly, and even started following us to the door. We didn't clean our table, We really wish we did, but we felt unsafe being a small group of teens, and only one girl that we left without doing so. The staff was so friendly and we really wish we could have cleaned up after ourselves. Thank you for being such a great staff! We really appreciate it!”

“Food was very good. They put my food in a plastic container, put the container in a paper bag, then put the paper bag upside down inside a plastic bag. When I took the food out of the bag, because it was upside down, the container had opened. It was a gigantic sloppy mess. Had to dig most of the food out of the bottom of the paper bag, then use a massive amount of napkins to clean up all the sauce that had dripped all over me, my desk, and the floor. I think the egg roll was good but it was a soggy mess by the time I fished it out of the bag. I ate one bite and the other half of the egg roll was empty. Very frustrating lunch but like I said, it was tasty so I will go back and not get it to go. Or take my own containers and bag it myself.”

Restrooms had scraps of toilet paper all over, the cooks couldn't stop to clean off the counter, and the floor by the toppers was filthy... The buffet area was fully stocked with fresh ingredients and our waitress was everything we needed, just needed a good sweep up.”

It's tortilla strips that are fried and covered in cinnamon and sugar and comes with a side of honey. We just finished our food and it was amazing. They gave her enough chips for five people and the huge sides of everything that came with it. Seriously amazing food. Polite staff. Food all came really fast and my favorite part of the whole dinner was the prices. It was half as much money as taco Bell would have cost us. Definitely try this place. “I recently tried Scooter's Coffee for the first time, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! With Starbucks under construction, I was in need of a local frappe fix and stumbled upon Scooter's Coffee on Google. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. Their frappees are fantastic! In fact, I found myself enjoying their drinks even more than the Starbucks frappees. I'll definitely be returning in the future for more of their delicious offerings.”

I like the classic carol and the fruity Fran, the grape salad is amazing and I would do some sketchy things for those tiny cookies that come with the combo. The delicious chicken salad aside, I kind of despise their facility layout, there's always something blocking the walking path and I'm habitually confused on where the door is. Sometimes the service is really slow or the staff seem disinterested in placing an order, etc. but overall they're always available and friendly.”

Each time the staff was amazing and accommodated my gluten allergy like professional with no questions! “Best pizza in Columbia, best house made sausage anywhere, a tatziki that would make a resident of Greece happy.Tony's is a legend for locals, I now live in Europe and it's my first stop when I arrive back in the U.S. The pizza has a crisp crust, that has flavor without being oily. The pies are perfectly sauced and generously cheesed, it goes right to the edge of the pie. The superstar on the pizza is their house made sausage, it's heaven on a plate. After eating the sausage here, every other pizza joints sausage pies disappoint.On the Greek menu they serve gyros, and it's popular and great choice, but the Souvlaki is king for me. Tender grilled pork with a thick Greek yogurt based tatziki. No watery tatziki here.The same family has owned it for decades and they are good people. They have a rapport with most of their customers. The inside isn't fancy, but it is what a local pizza joint should look like. I can't wait for my next trip.”

“Visit was on st Patrick's day, so busy is to say the least. The service was still well. Our Waiter didn't show any distress made us feel very welcome & appreciated. Only thing won't do when we go back is order the pizza. I almost didn't even wanna pay for it ? so under cooked toppings feel off when picked it up and way to much sauce. Took home and fed to the dogs”

“I loved their green drink with ginger in it. I was having some stomach cramps from not so great New Year’s Day eating. Lol. So I stopped by here and purchased one of their drinks and it really helped me with digestive issues. What a great resource. I love that the drink only had 190 cal in it as well. Perfect. “Had brunch with my son today and I typically don’t write reviews. However, my experience was fantastic. The server we had was sweet and efficient. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I loved the decor it was very modern mixed with rustic elements. The food was so good and I could feel the difference in my body afterward.. not the crappy fast food feeling but energizing! The server I had was named Alyse and I want to give her a shoutout for an all-round amazing job! She was very sweet to my son and was attentive to our needs! Love this location and will come back!!”

“Went in for HH hours on a Thursday. Greeted at the door and was able to sit at a table in the bar area upon request. HH looks to be $5 pint of a draft but I’m assuming it’s limited to certain ones. I did get the flight but prices are based on what beer it is so will vary in price. Friends got the wings and loved them as well at the crab cakes. We split the margarita pizza & the dip with veggies in a bread bowl. Pizza was good, dip platter the veggies were not as fresh as one would hope. It will be fun to go back again and try more things.”

“A very good place to sit down and eat some good steak. The service is amazing all the time. Only downside is most of the time it will be a very loud dining experience. All in all a great place to pick up some steak. The rolls are heavenly. 100% recommend.Parking: Most of the time the parking is taken so you have to go down about 200 feet away.Kid-friendliness: An area to play with chalk.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants and normally I'd give a 5 star all day long but the last time we was there we saw our waiter 2 or 3 times and drinks never got refilled until we had to ask another waiter which then said she would need to find ours and send him our way and then a order was missing food still a fantastic place to go great food and I'd definitely still recommend them!”

“I have visited this restaurant many times since it opened. The food is absolutely delicious. Generally, I am also impressed with the service. Usually extremely courteous. Unfortunately, that was not the case this evening. Quite disappointing, as we drove quite far to dine here tonight. We arrived at 5:10 pm, and we're immediately greeted by a dark haired young lady who was clearly irritated that customers were even present. She didn't ask us where we would like to sit, or say welcome, she instead said, "You know we close at 6?". Wow. How disappointing. Sorry to inconvenience you. We did get seated but during the whole meal the server was in a rush, was irritated, was curt and it was obvious he wanted to go home and that we weren't welcome. Food was great. But during the entire experience the young lady and young man, who we learned were siblings, still teens, didn't quite understand how to treat customers. It was obvious that they just wanted to go home. The young man again reminded me that they close at 6. He also yelled at me across the restaurant about whether my check was ready. I am sad for the owner who has worked so hard to build such a great business, that he unfortunately trusts these two young people to take care of his customers, but they don't understand how to do that well. Again, the food was great, but the two siblings working this evening were incredibly disappointing. We will be back but hope that the two teens get better at welcoming customers and learning about hospitality. Great food, as always.”

“We were surprised as we got there at 5 on a Saturday afternoon and had no crowd. But this was good for us as we were seated and served right away. Our waitress was super attentive. Food was good as usual at Olive Garden. The waitress made this a great experience”

Restrooms had scraps of toilet paper all over, the cooks couldn't stop to clean off the counter, and the floor by the toppers was filthy... The buffet area was fully stocked with fresh ingredients and our waitress was everything we needed, just needed a good sweep up.”

“I have always loved Walk-On’s since they opened in Columbia. The atmosphere is amazing and the waitresses are always very nice and friendly. The food is so good each and every time. “First time in today. The food was great and the frappe was nice and sweet just how I like it. I also tried the signature strawberry drink and it was light and refreshing. I ordered the croissant sandwich with bacon and egg and the croissant was nice and flakey. My husband and daughter got waffles and mentioned they were cake like. My daughter had strawberry and whipped cream and didn't need syrup. Yummy experience, will return.”
