As with mine, we thought there'd be some sort of seasoning on the hamb/meats. So, therefore, it was kind of "bland". We did have the salsa . . . that helped! ? btw: the service/server were great!”

“Hubs and I parked at the TA and walked over. We shared the carnitas platter and the El Gordo shrimp platter. Everything was well seasoned and we received large portions. The carnitas were perfectly cooked- meaty, moist on the inside with little crispy edges. the Shrimp were plump and a little spicy. ? would highly recommend”

“The first time here I ordered the Trinity. Now I go there regularly. The fact this place isn't a household name like Gates, Joe's, or Arthur Bryant's is a tragedy. Easily top tier Kansas City BBQ. Prices are good, not high.Parking: Lots of spaces on the street it is at an intersection.Kid-friendliness: Waiter was so good with the kids, couldn't of asked for a better one.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapt spaces right in front and across the street. I know there are stairs to enter the restaurant and stairs to get to both dining areas.”

“Had breakfast here 2023 Aug 22. Like to go to non-chain places when traveling and this is worth it. Nice inside, service good, waitress pleasant. I love corned beef hash, usually prefer homemade; but theirs from the can was good - cooked really crispy along with the hashbrowns. I am a sucker for crispy.”

“This is becoming our weekend place for breakfast, at lunch. Service is always good. Everyone is friendly, but like someone who genuinely cares. I am not a fan of someone who acts like a servant. The only bad thing I can think of to say is they are a touch expensive. However, we have always left feeling like we got our money's worth.”

“The inside of this restaurant has been recently renovated. It is very clean and fresh looking. All of the produce and meat all looked fresh. They had also recently made cookies. My friend and I sat at a table and ate our sandwiches it was a nice, quiet meal at the time that we went. I had the monster sandwich. It was fantastic. They even put my onions and green peppers in to heat up with my meat. Definitely a nice small shop for a quaint little town.”

“My husband and I had the handbreaded tenderloins and for our side, the bbq baked beans the tenderloin was huge. crispy breading seasoned well. if you are a tenderloin lover I highly recommend this one. the bbq baked beans were also delicious and I want to try their bbq next time.”

“I just left there we ordered one soda got a frappe for free with our McDonald's points, ordered cookies and got two burgers and two hot and spicys. We ordered on our app but oddly when we got there the app wouldn't show us our purchase as if we never made one it was just gone. Thank goodness the app an emails receipt straight to our phones and when we showed the receipt to the people at the counter they were very helpful and kind. This McDonald's is so clean and the people here are so nice they should feel very proud. The cookies were made fresh! All ooowigooowi i should have taken more pictures I'm sorry!”

“Polite and quiet. A little dark and run down. Food is okay. The drinks were wrong 2x. The food in the buffet was old and the sauces were thick and tacky. Just not the best I have had there.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian menu items.Parking: The lot is old and crumbly, lots of holes.Kid-friendliness: Nice to the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: A wheel chair will have alot of trouble in the parking lot. There is NO HANDICAPT bathroom there.”

“We are staying here in the camping area in a full hook- up site, which is nice. We debated going on for food based on mixed reviews but we did and it was very good. I did a wine-tasting and hubby tasted a couple beers. We ordered a pizza that was delicious! I mentioned the mixed reviews to the gal working and she said they had a bad cook for awhile who is no longer there. So in short, don't be afraid to give them a try. We were happy with it and I'm sure you will be as well. BTW, the grounds are beautiful!”
