Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared and had a good flavor.As a side note, before I make recommendations, I have an autoimmune condition called celiac disease. I am so sensitive that 20 ppm is still too high for my body's response, and even though I was aware of the possibility of cross-contamination, they went far above and beyond and took additional preventative measures to ensure my safety. Now, with that out of the way, I recommend trying the gluten-free pizzas and the bruchetta. Of course, I subbed the toast for their bag of gluten-free chips, and while the chips aren't precisely the same, the dish is still tasty. “Walked in for an early dinner on a Friday. Place was about three quarters full. Might get a bit crowded during the usual rush, so be aware. Sign said seat yourself so we did. Only took a couple or three minutes before menus were delivered and drinks were ordered. Started off with a pretzel. It was huge and served right - fresh, hot and on a hanger. Delivered by one of the owners with a smile. Good pretzel, good sauces. I have a special weakness for deep fried food, so I had to try the deep fried Monte Cristo with the strawberry rhubarb compote. It did not disappoint. It seems to be a signature dish. Not sure where the inspiration for that came from, but it would not be out of place at the Texas State Fair (where they deep fry anything and everything). Decor is...neighborhood bar? They have a cash discount, so bring some. Not sure how I have overlooked this place until now.“

If you ask, they have a list of gf and non gluten free menu items so you can make informed choices. I'm gluten intolerant not celiac so i didn't inquire regarding cross contamination. i got a juicy grilled pork chop, really good baked beans, and broccoli cauli salad: $8.95. Kids got catfish and a burger, the Slick Willy. i was told we lucked out by being able to walk in and sit down - they do get busy busy. “It looks a little basic from outside. Inside holds bar seating, and a myriad of tables. It is not fancy.But,the food! The food is delicious. Pretty much all of it. We have gone many times, and everyone always loves their chosen dish. The chef is wonderful and the staff is courteous and does a great job. They have daily specials which also prove delish each time. Our favorite is the Sunday chicken dinner. It’s the only restaurant we have been to where the chicken breast is not salted to point of inedible. Fresh mashed potatoes are wonderful. Highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant.“

The entrance is zero-clearance and, while the hallway to the restroom is a little narrow and runs by the kitchen, I have never had trouble navigating the space in a larger electric wheelchair.This is one of our favorite places for a breakfast out.“

There 4 doordashers waiting on orders I walked up and told her the name she was instantly annoyed and told me move aside. She was even more rude to the dasher behind me. Dashers help your business by delivering food to your customers that would not have ordered from here if we didn't deliver it. Definitely in the top 5 if not top 3 pizzas all time, and I’m a fat retired Army guy that’s been around a bit and have had a lot of pizza. Well worth the visit for their Provel cheese that makes the thin crust pizza work. This is the first thin crust that breaks the top 10,5 and 3. Great atmosphere if you like a good neighborhood bar, I would go out of my way to visit this place again that happens to be by a hotel I’m staying while going home to take care of my Dad.“

One of my sons got the OMG burger and somehow finished it. There were two other burgers ordered at our table. My wife got the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. I tried it and was impressed. “I chose the Longhorn and Brussel Sprouts....Steak was prepared perfectly, but the Brussel Sprouts are hands down the best thing on the menu. Those are like dinner and dessert.
