“We really enjoyed the good here. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The french fries were some of the best I've had and I highly recommend ordering them. We also tried the corn cornbread, the slaw and the macaroni and cheese. Just delicious all around.“

“Went on the recommendation of a coworker. I'm glad I did. The food was delicious.When I walked in the place smelled fantastic. I believe it is a husband & wife operation. Very friendly and helpful. This is one of those places that cook only so much that when it's gone it's gone and you'll have to try again another day. I ordered a full slab of ribs. We were able to make 2 meals out of the meat. I also ordered 3 sides. The Mac & cheese (with smoked with bacon ?), Coleslaw, and green beans also with the smoked bacon ? ?. All of it was delicious. It is a nice little place to eat. We did carry out. They sever coke products. I paid $35.00 for the full slab and 3 sides. When I go back, and I definitely will, I will be ordering the brisket. Spoke to a woman who said that was all she ever order. It looked good. My coworker said the porksteaks are real good and the tips are to die for. My coworker is a regular at Big Woody's to the point they recognize her voice on the phone.. They are located in a little strip mall across from a walgrens.Enjoy!“

“Been wanting to try this new barbecue joint and it did not disappoint! Came out for lunch and sat outside. Order at the counter. I got the burnt ends flatbread (it was huge!) and hubby got 1/4 rack ribs. Really good. Sauce was great combo of smoky/spicy/sweet. Mac and cheese was a touch too cheesy so probably wouldn't get that againt but creamy coleslaw was good. Will definitely be back!“

“My wife grabbed me a pork steak sandwich and fries and it was great. I'm picky ab pork steaks and this place really made an impression and as close to 141 as it is makes it even more of a desirable stop and go. Would recommend and repeat.“

“Ill start with the service. The guys were nice and helpful. No complaints there. The atmosphere was alright. Chairs are a little whack but not a big deal. The kicker here is that the food was lackluster. It was 98 dollars for 3 guys to have lunch and an appetizer. I got the brisket sandwich. It was good but for the price I don't think it was worth it in my opinion. The fries were great though. The appetizers was a fried corn style dish. It had good flavor but for the price again it was very lackluster. They were out of ribs(what they are known for) on a Saturday at 2 so they must have been busy the day before I assume.To summarize I don't think you shouldn't give this place a try. I just think for the price the quality is just not there. It was a disappointment in all honesty. The staff was great but the food was below average for what I would expect for a BBQ place. However, the redemption was fries and the flavor of the brisket and BBQ sauces.“

“Just stopped in to buy the freedom 13 bottle. Seemed like a nice place any questions I had got answered instantly and let me go through the bottles to find the number that I wanted.Drove from Kansas City to St Peter Missouri just to buy the bottle.Someday I'll stop back in and have a few drinks and talk with the people in there hopefully.“

“I chose the Longhorn and Brussel Sprouts....Steak was prepared perfectly, but the Brussel Sprouts are hands down the best thing on the menu. Those are like dinner and dessert. The honey butter they put on after roasting them makes them super delicious.Also had the Parmesan-crusted mushrooms and the Spinach-artichoke dip, both hit the spot. “My family visits this location often, and they never disappoint. But this year we decided to order Thanksgiving smoked turkey and brisket to cut down on the cooking for the holiday. It was the best turkey we have ever had. We are so grateful for the staff for opening their doors to feed us on a holiday. We love Sugarfire. Oh and the pies sealed the deal for desert. Best BBQ in the STL!“

“Consistency is key! You always know what you are going to get at Bandanna's and it's consistently good. Tonight they had a sign up that said they were out of chicken, turkey, and brisket but that's OK I wanted those ribs! I really wanted the combo of ribs and chicken thighs but, oh well. Their green beans clearly come from a can but they had some kind of a spice and some onions so they are delicious and their coleslaw is always creamy and iced cold, which I appreciate. It took less than 10 minutes from the time I ordered until the time they brought my to-go bag and I was on my way. Fast and friendly service. Clean restaurant with a huge patio.“
