“Good Thai food. Have had better but the flavors and drinks were all on point! In my opinion the service was below average I felt very rushed from the moment I sat down with my group. A few of the orders were not quite as ordered and a fair bit of confusion.Dietary restrictions: Both Vegan and Vegetarian along with gluten free options!“
“Update: A week later...Had the Chicken Katsu Curry...*chef's kiss*Tried this place for the first time the other day... SO SO GOOD. I got the basil rice lunch special. It came with chicken & veggies, miso broth and egg rolls. Loved it. 10/10 recommend.“
“The best restaurant in Saint Louis. The food is so flavorful. I tried the gnocchi and the tofu dish and it was the best tasting dishes of those type I have ever had. You might require a reservation and the space is a bit limited, but the staff is very accommodating.“
“Visiting for a work trip and decided to try this place out. First off, if you are expecting your typical chinese take out, this is not the place for you. This is a family run Taiwanese restaurant and while some of the items are familiar by name the taste is very different, not in a bad way. We ordered egg rolls, crab rangoon, house fried rice, honey chicken, general tso chicken, and chili chicken stir fry i think it was. Everything was very good. The crab rangoon was very different from almost every chinese place ive had, it was more creamy and garlicy. The egg rolls were smaller but super crispy. The sweet n sour sauce they serve it with is actually not very sweet as i was expecting. The chicken dishes were really tender, it seemed like they were chicken thighs? Service was a little slow to get our food made, but like i said, this is a family run business with the kids helping out. Definitely worth visiting! Thanks guys“
“Very clean, cozy atmosphere. I didn’t not catch his name but our bartender/server today was so nice. All of the bao that we had were delicious and the fries are thin and cooked perfectly. The dipping sauce that comes with the gyoza is so good you could drink it. Highly recommend the Thai coffee.Vegetarian options: There is even a vegan option or two!“
“I came here for my birthday and a couple other family members'birthdays It was the first time any of us had been here. The food was good to all of us. I had wonton soup which really is an appetizer size portion which is fine just be prepared. I also shared gyoza that were slightly fried not just steamed. Again, this is fine just know that's how they are standard. I had a few pieces of my grandmother's sweet and sour chicken which had the sauce on the side. The chicken is nicely fried and soft chicken in the middle. The staff was all friendly and helped accommodate my grandmother's wheelchair. Yes there is appropriate parking though we did choose to back-in so the passenger side has room for the wheelchair. It is a decent part of townThe decor was interesting especially for a casual restaurant. The restrooms were cleanWheelchair accessibility: See the review for more details“
“Okay, so let me spill the beans about my secret comfort spot - Tony's K Food. Tucked away inside a Korean grocery, it's like stumbling upon a hidden foodie haven. Perfect for those "I-can't-be-bothered-to-cook" days, you know? The menu might be small, but every bite packs a punch of legit Korean flavors. My personal hero? The beef bulgogi - seriously, it's a portion that feels like a warm hug for your taste buds. And then there's the tteokbokki - it's got this spicy kick that's like a flavor rollercoaster. Trust me, it's spicy but oh-so-worth it.What I love most? It's takeout heaven. I get to bring all that goodness home without lifting a finger in the kitchen. Tony's K Food turns my lazy days into a Korean feast adventure, proving that you don't need a fancy setting for seriously good eats.“
“We drive from Alton to eat here at least once a week. They keep the buffet stuffed with fresh vegetables, fish and meats. They keep the buffet very very clean. It's a hidden gem. The waitresses are very kind and helpful and always pleasant to talk to.“
“This is the third Seoul Taco location I have visited, and it was by far the best one yet! The staff were incredibly kind and they had my order ready in no time. The kimchi fried rice tasted excellent and the bulgogi steak tacos were phenomenal. If I'm going to Seoul Taco, I want this location to be the one I eat at.“
“Ordering a Gogi Bowl with spicy pork at Seoul Taco, located in the vibrant Loop of University City, is an adventure in flavors that bridges Korean culinary traditions with a modern twist. As you step into the bustling atmosphere of Seoul Taco, you're immediately enveloped in the aromatic scents of spices and sizzling meats, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The Gogi Bowl itself is a masterpiece of texture and taste. At its heart is the spicy pork, marinated in a blend of Korean spices and sauces, then grilled to perfection. Each bite of the pork offers a delightful balance of heat, sweetness, and savory depth, making the flavors dance on your palate. The pork is then served over a bed of steaming white rice, which acts as the perfect canvas to absorb the rich, spicy sauces. Alongside, an assortment of fresh vegetables adds crunch and freshness to the dish, creating a harmonious contrast with the tender, flavorful meat.Accompanied by a side of kimchi, which brings its own tangy and spicy complexity, the Gogi Bowl becomes a complete meal that satisfies with every forkful. The experience of eating at Seoul Taco in the Loop is enhanced by the lively and casual setting, where the energy of University City is palpable. It's a place where food lovers gather to indulge in the bold flavors of Korean-inspired street food, served with a side of warmth and hospitality that makes every visit a delight.“
“Jinzen is everything you'd want in a ramen+ restaurant. Intimate. Well-decorated. Attentive staff. Had the tonkotsu ramen on a recent lunch. Very tasty. If I worked in or lived near Clayton, I would be visiting this restaurant at least a few times a month, if not more.“
“We were seated immediately skipping the line that had formed. Our waitress was very personable and her attitude was great. Pad Thai and shrimp fried rice was excellent. Egg rolls weren't my favorite type but still good. We shall return.“
“Great food, bad location. I would recommend this restaurant. One of the best Chinese food takeout in the city and county. The restaurant was recommended to me, now I'm recommending it to everyone...delicious! I've just learned they have another location as well, if you don't like to travel to the Natural Bridge location; but the food is great. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.“
“I ate at this Seoul Taco for lunch today. I got 3 tacos, another person I went with also got 3 tacos and a third got a quesadilla; we also shared an order of pot sticker dumplings. I thought the food was good, as good as at the Delmar Loop location I'm used to. I'd ordered from them here in the past and they didn't have the dumplings. The food is good, but the weird thing is this "restaurant" is inside a Schnucks grocery store. They're not the only one, there's some seating all these places share, but it's kind of weird because the produce section is right behind you. All in all, it's ok though. The food is good, it's just in a strange location. I would go here again.“
“When coming to place it can be a bit confusing due to the construction in front but when going in its actually a great place to hangout with your friends. Food was good and atmosphere was cozy. Just wish there was a lil more help with figuring out how to order or putting away plates. Overall 8/10 would recommend giving this place a try.Kid-friendliness: A few different claw machines and super vibrant colors.“
“Brittany was great! She made sure we had everything we needed consistently. The food was good too, I had Singapore noodles which were very similar to Asia at Ameristar. We had crab ragoons, spring rolls and pot stickers which were alright. I would come here again.“
“Everything was great but Pannipa was AMAZING!!! Best service ever. We loved the food and had a great time. Pannipa was so sweet and helpful. She took extra care for my gluten allergy and went above and beyond for us. We will be back for sure and you bet we will ask for Pannipa.Dietary restrictions: Very good about gluten and any allergy needs“
“This location is inside of a Schnucks. They had a nice seating area. I tried the Gogi Bowl with Seoul Sauce in place of Gochugang because I can’t handle a lot of heat. I appreciated how accommodating they were and the bowl was sooooo yummy! I will definitely be back!“
“My brother owns a business across the street, so I'm consistently around this restaurant. They've got the jams on the radio, all things that are good on the TV, and hands down some of the best ramen I've had in the state. Not to mention, a variety of sushi. If I could eat here every day, I would. I love this place.“
“Read an earlier review where someone didn’t like the changes under new management. Each to their own; personally, I love the changes in atmosphere and food. My husband and I enjoyed our food and interacting with everyone. Very friendly and “
“I have been a frequent guest of Pei Wei over the years. My early experience was fine, but lately the quality of the meals has decreased. The portions of rice to protein/vegetables and sauce have changed from 60%~40% to 40%~60%. In other words, after eating I end up with a bowl of rice. Take out some of the rice and increase the “good” stuff!“
