“This is my first time visiting this absolutely beautiful restaurant! I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner and shown to my table. The ambiance is beautiful & traditional Syrian/Mediterranean which immediately takes you away from where you are. The service was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed grape leaves, a light traditional soup, and the beef dish served with a light yogurt & vegetables. If you haven't tried this wonderful establishment, you must give it a try! Very unique and a well needed addition to this little cove of Creve Couer! I will definitely be returning often & bringing others!!”

“Turkey ribs were awesome. First time having them, great with sauce or without. Smoke was excellent. Potato salad was like my grandmas. I didn’t get the turkey tips because they were out, I assume that means those are good too. This is a humble smokehouse with good people. Highly recommend.”

“Good place for the breakfast and lunch! Nothing special, but good quality overall. Sometimes it is hard to find a good breakfast place even though the foods are very simple and basic. This place serves simple and basic food but quality is also good. Price is not too high, probably $10-$15 before tax and tips.”

“My spouse and I celebrated here. She had the Shrimps and Grits and the Berry Goat cheese salad. I had the Grilled Salmon and Lobster and sausage gumbo. The waitress and the chef were very courteous and pleasant. We had the bread pudding with better pecan ice cream, and the death by chocolate cake and ice cream. It was a blessing?”

“Gioia's Deli, known as hot salami, is the best sandwich in the county and city. I usually get two because despite the sandwiches are so delicious. I wish the owner made rewards app so we can get a free legendary hot salami sandwich.”

“I've only been here twice, but both times the drinks have been 10/10. I've gotten the strawberry one & the creme brulee dirty boba. They're both very good, but the creme brulee one is next level good, probably my favorite drink I've had from any of the tea places I've been to. And super pretty!! :)”

“Visited twice, dishes we've had so far: The deep fried red snapper, burrito, chicken empanadas, mole (very good!), tacos, and guacamole. In general, the dishes are tasty. We really enjoyed the red snapper and mole, unique from the typical "mexican" fare in St. Louis (mushy stuff covered in slimy cheese). The mole sauce and tacos are flavorful, the rest of the dishes are well presented, generous portions, and fresh ingredients, maybe a bit on the bland side. The red and green salsas that come with the chips are fresh--the first time we had them, they had more spicy kick and stronger flavor, the second visit they were dialed down--each batch must come out a little different. They make their own margarita sour--it's delicious!! Has a hint of ginger, comes in 2 jar sizes, large and larger! The space is kinda like a diner/neighborhood bar & grille--it's spacious and clean. Highly recommended! I hope they expand their traditional dishes and offer more vegetarian options. Also, some extra hot choices for us spice addicts.”
