“We frequent Teleo Coffee with our family after moving to St. Louis. As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. “A friend recommended this deli to me, so I decided to swing by before a trip to the zoo. Lots of selection in sandwiches. It was almost hard to decide on one!. Favorite part though, every sandwich is offered in either hot or cold. My sandwich was delicious, and I could tell the cuts of meat were high quality. There are side options,other prepared food items, a large selection of meat products for purchase, and a wall of ice cold refrigerated beverages. There is seating in the middle section of the store, if you prefer to eat there. To the left is a small well stocked market area with grocery items. Great place to come for a quick lunch or on the go meal! PSA: the gooey butter cookies are da BOMB !!!“

“This is the face of a VERY happy birthday boy. The driver was professional, and very kind to the children. Multiple people around the area were excited to see the ice cream truck too. He did our party and other sales. How he managed that I will never know. Because the kids were coming in left and right. I was excited that this business had sonic the hedgehog ice cream. But they exceeded my expectation on the variety of treats. We purchased bracelets for our party guests so the driver could know they were with the party. It worked out beautifully. I was actually able to purchase extra sonic the hedgehog ice creams and snocones! I will definitely be using them in the future. Great reasonable price and so friendly.“

“We worked closely with Jordan from Orlando’s to set up catering services for our wedding at the Wild Carrot. Jordan was so wonderful to work with. She is so sweet, a quick communicator, and she was even at our wedding to see that things went smoothly. She helped us set up a private tasting as well as schedule us for one of their larger tastings they offer a few times per year. This allowed us to pick the perfect menu for our wedding. Our guests gave rave reviews and we heard from lots of people they wish they could eat it again! Orlando’s is affordable and has so many options for your guests. “Pasta House catered our wedding, and they did an amazing job!!! They made the whole day a breeze! The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers!!! My husband and I wanted ice cream for dessert. They placed the order with Ted Drewes, picked it up, and brought it to the venue. They even let my baker bring the cake to them the day of, and they handled it from there. The bar was awesome!! The drinks were delicious and ll the staff from serves to bartenders were so friendly! Our wedding was at the World's Fair Pavillion which has some stricted guidelines/rules which we were worried about. Pasta House took care of all of it and didn't let us worry once about it. They were a dream to work with and I would recommend them to everyone for a delicious and stress free wedding or event!!!“
“Nice little neighborhood grocery store, with a long history that also serves some great sandwiches! We tried the Roma and Mary Jane sandwiches and loved both. All sandwiches come with a pickle spear and small bag of chips. The flavors were nice and fresh, with great taste! About $9 each and a good size. We sat and ate at the counter and read about the history of the building. Next time I want to get some of the side salads to try. The service was a bit odd, as there were 4 people behind the sandwich counter and 1 at the front/store register. The 4 folks were all talking to each other and didn't notice us for a bit. The guy who took the order seemed a bit upset and didn't really talk much. He sent me up front to pay and then said to come back in 5 min for the food. After a few minutes I came back and the other folks helped find the order. They were both very friendly, and helpful. Must have just caught the first guy in a bad moment. Is it a place for date night? No. It is worth going there and grabbing lunch to eat outside on a nice day? Hard "YES"! Great food at a good value and a local place, can't ask for much more than that!“

“Apple Spice is the best breakfast and lunch caterer in St. Louis. They have the best in class focus on customer service. Our orders are always accurate and on-time (if not early). If there has ever been a question about our order, they call us and are courteous in their communication. We always get a follow up from them inquiring about how the order went. “We've driven past here countless times and today had the opportunity to have lunch. It's a store front in a small strip, clean and nicely decorated inside, with 3-4 umbrella tables outside. The counter staff were very kind and offered recommendations. I had the chicken spedini with salad. I didn't realize it also came with a generous bowl of spaghetti and red sauce. I'm Italian and most Italians will tell you, "We never eat sauce out (meaning tomato sauce), so I took it home for the kiddo. My husband selected the chicken parmigiana which also included pasta and we both had salad. Our entrees and the broccoli that accompanied them were delicious. The quantity of food was too much for me, but the hubby loved it as he was ravenous by the time we stopped. The salads were tasty, though the cheese we added came in fairly large sticks - not bad, just oddly proportioned. Everything tasted good, but we were a bit shocked by the prices. While the counter staff were very nice, she didn't indicate how much of an up charge there was for a small side salad. We'd expected close to $20/each and ended up with a bill of almost $60. We won't pay that much for lunch again anytime soon, though we would consider them for catering because the food was very tasty and the catering prices weren't terrible, thus the 4-stars. It would be 5-stars except for the unexpected pricing.“
“I *LOVE* Best Box Lunches! We used to use them quite frequently for work lunches and events, but our office remains shut down from the pandemic and we've missed them! When we were recently working at a Habitat build site and needed a lunch delivery, they were my first thought. AS ALWAYS, they were early, the orders were perfect, and the food is delicious! “Needed to find a new, local restaurant where we could order a team lunch. STL Rotisserie is a restaurant that I saw in a strip mall on the south side of Olive Blvd, just west of 270. Seemed worth a try so I found their menu on the internet and gave them a call. Drew (the owner) was very helpful and answered all of my questions. He was happy to take advance orders over the phone for pickup, so I put STL Rotisserie on our list for the November team lunch. I sent a pdf of their menu around via email, and everyone sent me their orders. After a quick call to Drew with those orders last Friday, I just dropped by today and picked everything up. Drew had the order waiting in an insulated bag and the names were on each meal. The meals were piping hot and every order was correct! We had cast a wide net from the lunch box options to sandwiches and even plate lunches. All of the food was incredibly flavorful and the portions were large. It made our group really happy to have what was basically home cooked "blue plate special" meals. Our team was ready to add STL Rotisserie back into our rotating list of restaurants even before we were through with our meals, so a "thumbs up" all around... I have been really impressed with Drew and the experience from start to finish - an A+! We will be back and I will tell others!“
