Greeted immediately upon entering by friendly staff. Service was great, food cooked to perfection. ?? Atmosphere had a great vibe. Compliments to the bartender on the Drinks. They were great as well. Overall, great first-time experience. Will definitely be back to try more options on the menu.

The first time here, it was fabulous the vibe is wonderful. Food was unbelievable!! Onlynthing the server was kind of slow. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't that big of a deal.

A restaurant that doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. The open bar with TVs says it's a watering hole. The fake trees give off Rainforest Cafe vibes. The menu says it's a steak and seafood place. Our server described it as a bourbon bar. Seems like it is trying to be too many things. The food was over seasoned. Server was helpful.

Cobalt Smoke & Sea is the perfect marriage between surf & turf. They have something for everybody! This is a spot where you can bring a seasoned foodie or a curious food newbie. The ambiance is enchanting illuminated with lit up Ginkgo trees stationed around the restaurant.See below. This is unique.Step 1: Pick a protein. I chose scallops. You could also choose Sea Bass, Salmon, Tiger Shrimp, Rainbow Trout, Beef Tenderloin, Pork Chop, Cornish Hen, Ribeye, & Wagyu.Step 2: Pick your style. I chose Mediterranean which included saffron risotto, olive tapenade, Italian herbs, & basil cream sauce. You could also choose these styles.Traditional - whipped potatoes, haricot verts, crispy onion, and béarnaise sauceHarvest - sweet potato hash, bacon & kale, charred lemon & maple bacon butterCaribbean - dirty rice and andouille sausage, fried okra, & blackening spices remouladeIt creates so much versatility for your dining experience!

The ambiance was great. Decor was fun. Seafood chowder was bland and mushroom ravioli was delicious but was served lukewarm to almost cold. Southern style scallops and Greek salad were delicious.

Excellent food! Oysters were great and loved the French onion soup. Wife and I split tenderloin and scallops and it was all cooked perfectly. Joselyn did a great job as well. Always attentive and provided great suggestions.

Food was good. Server was not polite in beginning, then did a little better. I don't think you should box up your own food when you're spending over $400. Ambience felt meh.

Loved the ambiance! Sherry, our server, was friendly and attentive. The food, scallops for my husband, and Brazilian dish with scallops and white fish for me, were excellent. We'll definitely be back!

We had dinner at Cobalt on my birthday and everything was perfect. My wife and I go there frequently and send all our friends and they have enjoyed the experience as well. Bernadette and her team do an amazing job.

Cobalt is always upping their game. New food specials, and drink specials for Valentine's Day. You need to go check out. Always good to see my friends at Cobalt. They treat you like family.

The ambiance is definitely older than the last time we were there. We're in our late 30s and early 40s and the last time we went it was energetic but intimate. This time it seemed like the place is the new 50s+ Houlihans. The noise level was LOUD, and not due to the restaurant - many of the tables were wasted. The food was good but it didn't wow me like before, and the wine selection is decent (if you're not a fan of liquor or mixed drinks). Overall the food sort of reminded me of shifting towards being like Bristol - and we quit going to Bristol and chose Cobalt over them. We will give Cobalt another chance as it may have been a one-off evening with distasteful patrons and a dish not enjoyed.

Favorite place in the area. One of the best food and bar programs in stl. Also, the happy hour is unreal!

French onion soup burned on top. Crab cake smelled spoiled. $48 sea bass served cold…literally cold. Service was ok at best. Risotto served with sea bass was gritty and nasty tasting. Used to love this place. Won’t be going
