“Somehow we were unaware of this gem in our neighborhood. Our first visit definitely put it on the map for us. The restaurant is clean and bright. The service is excellent; they were helpful and patient with us "newbies." After we ordered at the counter, food was delivered to our table quickly, and it was delicious! We also discovered that there's a cozy front dining area and a huge, also very comfortable, dining area toward the back of the building, so dine-in or to-go are both great choices. If you haven't tried their food, you should!! I know we'll be back often.“
“Really solid neighborhood restaurant. The zucchini sticks were decent. The prime rub was just delicious and it came on a plate of jus. Nice old school dinner. Wife got the dolmades. Really good dinner.Definitely going to be back and regularly.“
“This is by far my favorite gyro place in St. Louis. I am huge Greek food fanatic and I seriously can't emphasize enough how awesome this place is. From the service, to the taste of the food, to cleanliness of the facility this place gets a 5 star all across the board. This place is family owned and operated as well! I would encourage everyone to give it a try!“
“I just tried this place and I was overall satisfied, but there are some pros and cons. I got the roast beef sandwich, pasta salad and potatoes with a side of their cheese sauce. The sandwich...very good. They forgot my aujus sauce, but I didn't care. It was absolutely delish! The pasta salad...great flavor. Ate that up first thing. Now the potatoes...meh. They looked wonderful, but they smelled just awful from the cheese they coat it with. They were just meh. I didn't eat a majority of it.The cheese sauce...also meh. Not much flavor. Didn't add anything to anything. I didn't eat that hardly either. The service....TOP NOTCH. The guy cooking was very friendly and made my order so quickly, plus, he kept that kitchen CLEAN AND TIDY, which is very hard to come by in the STL.In all...it is a small, simple joint, but I enjoyed this place and will be back to try many more sandwiches!“
“It was my first time in Dados today and this place serves great food. The staff is also very friendly and even remembered my name from a to go order I placed over the phone. Looking forward to going back and trying something else from the menu.“
“Great food, fast service!! Best hummus I’ve ever had! Got the gyro bowl and it was fantastic. We also had a Philly (sandwich) which was VERY good. Would order both again!Vegetarian options: Falafel seems to be an option in any bowl/sandwich/salad etc.“
“Pros - Food is delicious Our server, Addison, was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere Cons - Not really a con but our reservation asked if it was a special occasion. It was our birthdays and we listed that but nothing was said or in any way acknowledged our birthdays. Not a huge deal but why ask on the reservation?“
“Looking for some fabulous Greek food and also helping to support a wonderful fundraiser for the church, well you've come to the right place. The food is delicious especially the chicken and rice, gyros, shish kabob, lamb shank and of course all of the delicious desserts. Please do yourself a favor and order each day they offer takeout and try everything. It's worth it.“
“Outstanding Little gyro salad joint. Food is always fresh portions are ridiculously large for the dollar and the people are so friendly in the place is always so clean! They are outstanding in every which way you'd like to visit a place to pick up “
“Terrific place for American Greek food. They have all the standards and they are delicious! The spanakopita crust is especially light and filling generous. Yum!You won’t find the truly authentic Blue Zone dishes of lemony garlicky fish and seafood or grain and veggie dishes. Wish they did. But they do have a wonderful spinach rice and comforting baked Mediterranean veggie dish, as well as salad and olives, and Arabic felafel, hummus, and baba ganoush. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, though without a Greek vibe. They do have a patio, but it overlooks busy McCausland Ave.Great service, good food, drinks, and flaming cheese. Nice place!“
“Was looking for a nice late lunch in the city and was able this great place Olympia Kabob House. We arrived on the Saturday afternoon and was able to have a choice between outdoor seating or indoor seating. Our server quickly took our drink order as well as provided us with a list of specials to choose from. We started with a feta and olive appetizer and a large Greek Salad, which had all fresh ingredients and very delicious. For our main course, we went with a chicken souvlaki on pita bread sandwich, as well as a shish kebab platter with chicken and one with lamb. All dishes were served perfectly seasoned and very delicious. Our server always checked on us to ensure that our drinks were filled as well as answering any questions that we had. Restaurant had a very nice decor, as well as a bar that had plenty of seating. They do provide several televisions that patrons can view sporting events. They accommodate large groups, so please call ahead in advance to ensure your party can be seated. Great experience and will definitely be back. We only tried the lunch menu, but we're hoping to catch the dinner and have the same wonderful experience.“
“We had a wonderful server Anessa. She made our visit so special and was so kind to our 3 year old (meltdown after no naps on our trip- he turned around and enjoyed his meal). We enjoyed the olive and cheese plate app. Both me and my father in law had the kebab plates which were fresh and yum. Kids enjoyed their meals as well. Definitely visit for lovely staff and yummy food!“
“The decor is kind of all over the place in an eclectic, endearing kind of way. I bring the kids almost every week and they love it here. The donuts are basic, but done well. The breakfast food is very diner-style, but the kids love it. Good family spot for a reasonably priced breakfast.Kid-friendliness: Bring my kids here once a week and they love it.“
“Love the gyros here.Pretty expensive, kinda dingy, but the gyros are loaded and they taste awesome. Meat is juicy, yet slightly crisped outside and they have a ton of fresh veg. For some reason most gyros in Missouri only have meat, onions and feta.“
“It's a good place to order and quickly get your food to go. Prices are very reasonable and food is good quality for fast food place. I liked beef with rice, steak was okay for the price, chicken fingers as good as in other places. Guys who worked that night there were very polite and worked fast. Place has also some small store in there.“
“..tried to order a fish combo,.... Jack and tilapia,.. over the phone,.... bad communication and understanding,.... placed order at counter,....12 minutes late,... after dodging water catchers along the entrance,.. I was giving this mess I found out at home ? later...... EVERYTHING IS DRIED OUT!!!!.... and they say it's not their fault,....... check your food,.... before they put it in the bag...and usher you away“
“I came here for an authentic gyro and it didn't disappoint.I like mine with just the meat and pita bread, cut right off a spit.I will definitely be back again, the staff was attentive and courteous.5 star lunch!!Stop in if you're close by, it is worth a visit!!“
“Stl Gyros hits the spot for me. I haven't tried all the meat options yet, and some of the side menu items are not as high in quality, but the employees are always respectful and make the food well. I like the available dressings and veggies, and it's usually ready pretty quick. I've never had a bad time at one of these, tho my main location is Creve Coeur“
“Delicious Mediterranean food! I really enjoy coming here for lunch because the staff is always friendly and their gyros and salads always taste so good! They have a really good bang for you buck too, which is harder to find lately, you can get a good healthy lunch for $10-$14 per person. Definitely give them a try if you haven't already!“
