“I recently visited East Office Bar and Grill and was impressed. Great prices, service, and a laid-back vibe made for a perfect night. The Torpedo appetizer, a pretzel bread with meat and creamy sauce, was delightful. The Smash Steak entrée, a BBQ smashed steak with caramelized onions and brown gravy, was equally satisfying.Even on a busy Saturday, our group of five found seating easily, and the service was outstanding. An experienced bartender and a knowledgeable, attentive server ensured our drinks were always full. It was a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend it for an enjoyable evening out.“

“We have stopped at this restaurant several times as we pass through Cuba. On this cold January day, we had chili and a patty melt, both were very good. We've never been disappointed in their food. We sat in the bar area and the service was excellent. The menu has several options and they have a full bar with several draft beers. They permit smoking in the bar area, I don't know about the restaurant, and the bar smells of stale cigarette smoke.“

“I don’t do that many reviews. But a buddy of mine and myself were talking on the phone this morning. My friend was commenting how bad restaurants are nowadays at truck stops and all the good waitresses are gone. He skipped his breakfast at an iron skillet/Petro and settled for a breakfast sandwich at the store. Boy am I glad I was thinking breakfast this early afternoon, because of his story. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! I got a breakfast deal with 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a waffle substitute for toast. Best waffle I’ve had in a couple years. The flavor of the waffle itself was right up to par (not a heavy waffle either). The rest of my breakfast was excellent too. My waitress was Cassie, she was definitely a charm. My coffee never even thought about going dry. And I drink coffee at a pretty good pace. She’s one of the best I’ve ever had. She deserves a lot of credit. And her co-waitresses seemed pretty good too. One stopped by to check on me a couple times. The locals seem to stop in pretty regularly and they have a great repertoire with them as they work. I’m telling you, from myself and my friend that live on these roads during the week. Restaurants and waitresses like Dottie’s are a rare gem! Try and see for yourself…“

“The food and desserts are basic classics. Nothing fancy , but what they do is always pretty good. And priced well.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor dining on umbrella covered tables, off the road and next to a little field. A nice place for the kids to play while they wait.“

“Ate here after paying our taxes. Steelville is blessed to have had the Spare Rib Inn as part of their community for nearly a century. The atmosphere reminded me of Chub and Jo’s in Rolla, MO fifty years ago. The ACYE Fish special for $9.99 was really too much food on the initial plate for me to have their usual 4 piece second serving. The rib dinner also looked huge. Will definitely return to try other menu options.“

“My husband and I (I’m writing from his account because I forgot the password to my own google account tehe) are visiting from SC, and we stopped into this location on the way to family. Sheila was very attentive, helping several tables at once (it was busy but she held down the floor), and we never once felt we had to wait for anything. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the establishment is clean. A great place to stop!“
