My husband, 16 year old son (neither of whom are vegan or even vegetarian), and I just ate takeout from da Picky Vegan and we are all eager to go back! We got da picky burgers, a black bean burger, three kinds of fries (Cajun-delicious and quite spicy, sweet potato maple garlic, and lemon pepper), and lemon pepper chicken poppers. Everything was delicious, but we especially recommend the lemon pepper menu options. Also, they have GF burgers- yea! Please go there because I REALLLY want it to be around a long time! We all agreed that we want to go back soon! Also, the owner is very friendly.Dietary restrictions: They have GF burgers.

Not sure how this still has a 5 star with the food quality I received. I decided to stop by while already at the mall, as I've heard about it since its opening and wanted to give a new vegan spot a try. I ordered the "chicken poppers" in hot lemon pepper and garlic BBQ sauces with seasoned fries. I knew the moment I saw the employee put my chicken poppers in the MICROWAVE I was going to regret the $16 I had spent. The "poppers" were just some of the cheapest vegan nuggets you could buy and again, they were microwaved, so they were soggy and blah. The sauces were alright but did not redeem them. The fries were okay, they were certainly seasoned but there seemed to be no salt in the seasoning mix so they were still somehow bland. At least they were actually fried, but it makes me wonder why they couldn't have just fried the nuggets too at least. You could do better at home with Walmart plant based nuggets and store bought sauces. Maybe their burgers are better quality but I have no intention of finding out after this trip.
