Expensive for what you get, but they do have good food and good service, only reason for lower stars is they charge a 4% fee on debit and credit cards which I do not approve of. My understanding there are multiple law suits on other big businesses that done this and now they don't. But anyways this is my opinion and my review, I don't go here much just because of the 4% fee. Also no dine in take out only.

This was our first time eating here and let me say after we took one bite we had to get back in the car and drive back over there to make sure we just went to a Mexican place (except for the hot stuff we asked to be left off).Nothing tasted like Mexican on our burritos except for whatever was hot that we asked to be left off, and the person taking my order was American and spoke English and said "Oh then you will want ..... sauce left off" well, he didn't do it and what bite we both had was like a disco inferno in our stomach.I'm sorry but when the mess up is in this degree we will not be back. I'm not sure if he thought this would be funny or not but I don't find it funny. We were sick for 2 days after we ate there for the first and last time.

This place is adorable and does have very light, crispy tacos that are great! However, if you're like me, you like taco sauce or salsa on your tacos. You will NOT get that here, unless you pay an extra charge for it! I know, who's ever heard of that, right? They will say, we do give taco sauce, and what they give is hot sauce, like regular hot sauce......for your tacos. No. That's NOT the same thing. Hot sauce is what I put on my scrambled eggs or on some gravy or whatever, but taco sauce is what I put on my tacos. So, can you ask for taco sauce instead? Yes, you can......but they charge extra for it. That's what I said!! So you get a sauce with your meal, that isn't even taco sauce, but that's what you're expected to eat with it. You don't get taco sauce unless you pay for it. What's so funny, is the mediocre brand of hot sauce. also carries a salsa, which is super good. Maybe I'm being petty here, but I've never heard of such a thing. I personally hate the hot sauce so much (because it does NOT go with tacos) but am so turned-off that they charge for salsa, I'll just wait until I'm closer to Springfield to eat real Mexican food. I did try the salsa, just for the record.....it's made in-house, but it takes NOTHING to make salsa; it was really overpriced for the small amount you get and it was very plain, so not impressive, at all. I'm not sure who came up with the idea, "let's charge extra for this less-than -good salsa, but I feel like they don't understand how restaurants work.

I've tried many items on the menu and everything is good, but I will humbly suggest going with whatever the daily special is. This is where the food really shines. Today we had their Street Tacos special and *wow* absolutely delicious! It is a drive through only establishment - if you want to relax a bit, stop and eat at one of the nearby parks. The Lions Club park (1168 S Main Street) has ample covered seating and is also a popular spot for those wanting to stop somewhere in their vehicle to eat and rest. The Lucien Carter park (at the west end of Fields Blvd) and the downtown city park (Gay Street entrance) both have picnic tables (some under a covered pavilion) as well as playgrounds.
