“The restaurant was extremely nice from the moment I walked in. The food came out fresh and hot, the service was excellent, and the entire place was very clean. The owner was attentive and aware of everything going on, which really showed how much they care about their guests’ experience. I ordered the deep-fried pork chop with scrambled eggs and grits, and when I say it was excellent, I mean it gets a 100% in my books. Everything was cooked just right and full of flavor. I will definitely be back, and I’m thankful that I finally came into this restaurant. Highly recommended!”

“I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.”

“I visited the Ferguson location today w a friend who will be moving away from STL shortly. We were both first time visitors. Cathy was cooking and the food was amazing. My friend had the Friday Special (catfish, shrimp, and wings) while I chose the Thursday special of wings and shrimp. Both dishes were perfectly executed, tasty, and not at all oily. 10/10. Please support this small business.”

“I love dive bars! The food is pretty good and the staff super friendly. They have daily specials for food and drinks. One of my personal favorites are the mini tacos. The pizza is a thin crust St Louis style. Check it out. The crowd varies depending on what day of the week and time of day you go.”

“I’ve gone to King of Soul for breakfast and absolutely love it! Today I decided to try dinner! We’ll I was a little disappointed. While their customers service is on point, the price is right and the food is delicious, today not so much on the taste. The mac & cheese was a bit salty, the yams were not freshly made and while the bake chicken was good there was no pan drippings at all. None for the chicken and none for the yams. So my dinner was a bit salty and dry. On top of that, right as they were bagging my food, I was told, “I’m sorry, we don’t have any cornbread. It will be 30 minutes. They are just putting it in the oven.” Whaaaa!? no cornbread, and I ordered collards. My humble suggestion would be, if you you open at noon, and folks are coming at noon, as I did, your cornbread maybe should be one of the first things you cook. Listen, everyone is off their game at some point and time. It happens to the best of us. I will patronize King of Soul again for dinner and hopeful I will be experiencing some good, finger licking “soul food.””

“The best catfish you could ever sink your teeth into! I love catfish so I’ve had a lot and this is by far the best. No tartar sauce even needed. The cashier was so so friendly and kind, too!”

“The food and service were just fine when I went for the first time. The meatball marinara sub I opted for was just filling enough, AND tasted great topped with tomato, lettuce, provolone cheese, onions, green peppers, banana peppers, and Southwest chipotle sauce on Italian herb and cheese bread, slightly toasted. The cheese was just melted enough to give it a real pizza like texture and taste. Another favorite submarine sandwich I really like here is the Spicy Italian. Either way, they're always topped with plenty of meat and cheese! The chocolate chip and white macadamia nut cookies are really tasty. A foot long sub combo is more than enough for me to eat in one meal so I save half my sandwich for a snack later in the day. And the employees always seem friendly and do a great job making my sandwiches.

“I visited on a day Hubby and I went out for lunch. He ended up getting the strawberry cheesecake as a shake which was 10/10 delicious. I opted for the gooey butter icecream in a cup. Y’all …… it was so delicious . The icecream was creamy and the pieces of gooey butter were on point. But I also grabbed a biscoff cheesecake slice . This took me overboard . Not too sweet just right from the thickness down to the texture and the execution of the way it was presented. Definitely some bomb cheesecake and sweets. We will be back!!! 10/10 for all treats devoured ❤️”

“Took my husband to Hive this morning for Father’s Day breakfast. The wait staff is great! I had the absolutely delicious lamb chops, eggs, and breakfast potatoes while he had pancakes. He enjoyed one of my lamb chops to complete his meal. I highly recommend Hive if you want to have a great breakfast!”

“Its definitely a hood spot and you can't really dine in, but the food is bussin. Crunchy fried food and fries with lemon pepper; great for catering backyard barbecues or just grabbing a bite when sliding through.”
