“Let's start off with the food. Very Good. The Gumbo was jus spicy & seasond enough. The consistency was good too. The Blackened Catfish was again season perfectly and the rice was in point. The Yams, Mac & cheese was good. The Greens was good but the cut was too big. The Salmon was way too dry but that's every place in St Louis. The cornbread is almost like cake but it has a good flavor. The peach cobbler is great and the banana pudding is good but it doesn't have any bananas. The waiting area is tight and the neighborhood has gone down. The wait time is a little long however the food is worth it. It's definitely on my recommend list of places for foodies try in St LouisParking: Street front parking only and two level of steps. Not wheelchair accessible. You might have to wait in your car or on the porch because the waiting room is very tight“

“Always a fun environment with live music and spirited staff and patrons. We came for a Saturday night dinner of with Cajun pasta and red snapper...both were great. Service team we very accommodating and friendly...made the experience even better!“
“It's a lot bigger on the inside then I had expected. My friend and I went there on my weekend we've been trying to eat there but the timings never worked out till last Thursday. We had a wonderful waitress, my friend ordered a small pizza which was the perfect size for her. I ordered some buffalo chicken bombs which were tasty I'ma totally order the bacon cheese burger bombs next time, for my main app I got the Cajun chicken and sausage Alfredo it came of course the chicken and sausage as well as sauteed onions plus bell peppers my all time fav.Every piece of food was delicious definitely better then Macs tbh. I wonder what, I'ma get next time I stop by Alton.“
“The piano bar aspect of this place has been truly amazing every time I've been which is what they claim to be. So bravo! It does sometimes get crazy busy which is what every business wants but it gets crowded and service gets slow. The bathrooms have always been functional and the dual levels add a super cool aspect. I mean the beer is cold and it's a really fun atmosphere. There is a covered patio in front with tables and chairs for the smokers. Parking can be tricky but that can be said for every location on this strip. I've been multiple times and would go back.“

“Great lunch today at The Mad Crab! Wings were excellent and crispy (always a nice surprise at a seafood place) and the crab boils had everything you could want. The triple x sauce combo is the way to go, and add sausage if it's not already included in your boil. If it wasn't so cold out, I definitely would have ordered a daiquiri. The bibs were a nice touch, and turned out to be necessary!“

His psychotic girlfriend walked out clapping and smiling after her boyfriend had pulled out a gun at the restaurant. Owner did nothing wrong! Everyone was obviously scared I hope they caught that man and his girlfriend!“
