“Simply put it's an Irish bar full of local familiar faces, friendly staff, and some of the best bartenders around! Come on by , stop in at Reds, have a beer listen some live music and dance, or join in during karaoke nights. whatever your niche even if just to blow off some steam it's always fun at Reds Tavern.and when you stop in tell Ms Kathy/owner, that leprechaun sent you. hope to see you all there!!???“

“Spur of the moment stop-in on the way back from Maeystown. So, so glad that we did. Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming waitress, and fabulous conversation with regular patrons. Amazing all-around experience! We enjoyed a draft beer(golden and a wheat), ate a sausage and bacon pizza bread, and challenged each other to a pub float. This is definitely more than an on the way to something stop, it's a destination.Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time.Explore everything!“
“Apparently in Southern Illinois, the "thing" you do is called Jeeping. When my friends Beth and Nathan invited my boyfriend and I to voyage across the river to their hometown to go Jeeping, we were both afraid, then petrified... but when we pulled into the Fountain Inn, we knew we could survive. I LOVE bars like the Fountain Inn. Unpretentious. Made for locals. And a bar where Michelob Ultra is considered a "hoity toity" beer. But the Fountain Inn was far from a dive. While the exterior of the building may look a little worn, the interior was recently renovated and updated. They even had a roomba to sweep the floor! How high tech. The flow of the bar was open and airy with lots of places to sit and enjoy a cold one on a nice warm day. Outside of the Fountain Inn, there's tons of seating. It was easy to keep your distance. There was also a stage set up with a man in overalls playing a little too much Johnny Cash. But I didn't care. It was live music and Nathan kept the $2 Stag beers coming. I didn't mind the drive from Soulard to the Fountain Inn. It made for a really relaxing mini-day trip.“
“Murph has put together a bar that has a great sense of community. Every time I've been here I feel like everyone knows each other but they've also welcomed me into the group. The clientele seems to be pretty diverse and people are just looking to chill out and have a good time. The drinks are reasonably priced and they allow you to bring in food from outside. The fact there is a Dominos next door makes this outside food policy even better.Be sure to look the bar up on Facebook because they often have special events going on. For example tonight they had a pinball tournament going on in the back of the bar and a wrestling trivia night going on in the front. If you're a smoker they have two smoking areas outside, one in the front and one in the back.If you like pinball they have a wonderful collection of machines and they are all .75. These machines are all in excellent condition and you can tell that Murph is a fan of pinball.Parking: Lots of spots. It's a strip mall shared parking lot. I've never had a hard time parking here.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed until 730 (or something like that)Wheelchair accessibility: A few tables might need to be pushed over a bit but there should be no major issues getting a wheelchair into the building.“

“Writing this review just to shout out one employee in particular. This place is great anyway Reasonable pricing, great ambiance, good food, solid service. But tonight Hunter nailed it, quick on his feet, checked in just the right amount and super helpful and friendly.“
“As someone who has the stupidest level of social anxiety possible, and typically, ends up wanting to leave places, especially bars... This place is.. it's just the diamond in the rough i needed. The tunes are good, if not good - still tolerable, it's spacious, the crowd is friendly/ not on the typical drunken antics seen at bars and their dartboard section is amazing. The bartender dude that rocks the axel rose aesthetic is always a treat to interact with for sure, super cool cat, don't see many like him around anymore. Definitely appreciate you guys, stay gold ,thanks!!“

“The food was delicious!! The pretzels was tasty with both dipping sauces then We had the slider flight and would definitely recommend it. Their pork and hamburger were the best of the 3 but chicken had a lot of flavor also. We would probably order all pork next time it was so delicious!! Also fries were well seasoned. Then the gooey butter cake melted in your mouth! Will definitely go back when in St. Louis“
