“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. Our dinner meals were 5 stars. All of the staff were very friendly and hard working. We had the chocolate tasting for dessert and it was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.”

This is not just your chain style Mexican restaurant. This is very authentic Mexican food. it was so good. I highly highly recommend the chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce. They were the best I’ve ever had and I have been to many Mexican restaurants. My coworker who is also Latino said that this was one of the best restaurants he’s been to for Mexican food as well.

Agua frescas are authentic. I saw an older gentleman sitting in the corner shelling fresh tamarindo for them. Clientele is mostly Hispanic so they wouldn't be there if it wasn't authentic. Large Corona familiar beer and 64oz salt rimmed Micheladas being enjoyed across the restaurant. Try it.”

I would recommend going there 5 minutes before closing, it's when it's the best time to go because all of the employees are cleaning up and they now have to get everything back out to serve you. She will not desert you, she will check on you, keep your coffee warmed up. She fixes wonderful, generous side salads, and every person that eats there is her friend. She also stays busy, and is always helpful to her team members. I want to honestly say she is a 5 star server, in a 2 star clientele, at a 3.5 star location. As for the location, the cook is a black dude, wears a red Royals hat, and boy howdy, is he ever a good cook. Dont hesitate to go there. You mifht have to put up with big fat entitled mammas who act like the world owes them, with 8 screaming kids, but you will get good service, and good food.”
