Lucy’s Mexican Restaurant Reviews
I was hoping to try out Lucy's tonight for the $1 Taco night. After showing up, I was informed that this was a dine-in only promotion (this was no where in the ad) and they wouldn't be offering this as a carry-out option. I found this to be an extremely strange way to turn down business that they were clearly trying to promote. Given that they don't understand this very key principle of running a business (that you don't turn down sales), I don't think I'll be giving Lucy's a...read full review
Ate here not long ago. Had the lunch buffet and ordered off the menu. Didn’t get an item I ordered off the menu and there was black stuff floating around my tea my food had no flavor. Didn’t even get chips and salsa. I thought that was like an automatic thing eating at a Mexican restaurant but I guess not here. Hate to be that person but I won’t be returning. I hope you get better in the future but I think that’ll take new staff.
Very friendly when you go in food is Authentic and amazing!!!!

Lucy's Mexican Restaurant is a family-oriented eatery known for its authentic Latin food and a diverse menu that includes breakfast options like breakfast burritos, huevos divorciados, and huevos rancheros. The restaurant has recently moved to a new location on 7th Street. Customers often praise the friendly service, with staff providing beyond 100% attention and making guests feel welcome. The breakfast menu is especially popular, with dishes such as chilaquiles receiving high praise, and the coffee is appreciated for being good and served with full cups. Portions are generous, and prices are considered very reasonable, making it a favorite spot for breakfast. Many reviews highlight the restaurant's authenticity and the variety of options that set it apart from other local choices.
However, some recent experiences with dinner dishes have been disappointing. Some customers found the food to be fresh but lacking flavor, with bland fajita tacos and street tacos with carne asada tasting like chicken and veggies without seasoning. The queso was described as sweet and too thick, and the chips were hard and not flavorful. Beans had a sweet taste instead of a hearty flavor, and the rice felt like it was missing something. Despite the edible food, many feel the quality does not match the prices, and they express concern over the restaurant's sustainability if this trend continues. Overall, Lucy’s is appreciated for its breakfast offerings and friendly service, but recent dinner experiences have been less favorable.
