Our waiter was outstanding - everyone was impressed with how efficient he was and how quickly the 36 of us were served. Our 18 UMKC Conservatory students love your hamburgers, and the salads were delicious, as well.That's why we keep having our spring Student/Advocate luncheons at the Grand Street. I have eaten here many times. Food is consistently excellent, service is consistently top of the line. I have had almost all of the items on the menu, and there are no bad choices. I eat here every two weeks or so, usually for lunch.

Had a reservation and was seated right away but took a little too long to get waters and place drink order. I had the salmon and it was a bit over cooked. In the end the atmosphere was nice, but average food and average service therefore not worth the $. No reason to go back, too many other places near by.

We had a wonderful experience at the Grand St. Cafe. We started with 2 cocktails - the white negroni and the red stilleto. Very refreshing. We had the mushroom spring rolls and the pan seared scallops. Both were so tasty and precisely cooked. We ended with the apple pie and red velvet cake. So yummy. We go out often and this was the best meal we've had in a long time.
Took 20 minutes to get our bar order. Of our 4 entrees, 1 was the wrong order so sent back then the correct order only came with shrimp and zucchini when it was suppose to have lemon ricotta and squash. Shrimp tasted fishy so didn't eat. Of 2 desserts ordered, the red velvet cake was old and dry. Super disappointed. We use to love Grand Street.

This was our first time trying Grand Street Cafe and we weren't sure what to expect. The decor is nice, our service was wonderful, and the meal was delicious! My husband and I both had the filet mignon and were blown away. We've had this many times at many places, and this was the best by far! Our server was very friendly, attentive, and quick. From our appetizer, to our main course, to our dessert, the meal was fantastic. We'll definitely be going back!

We hadn't been to Grand Street for a while but we have always enjoyed it. The tuna tartare was the best we've had! My husband loved the osso buco! I always get Bill's Chicken Salad and love it but they have changed it so I ended up sending it home with our daughter. Great service and a lovely evening.
