Julep has great cocktails and an extensive whiskey selection. I have had nothing but good experiences here, and am hopeful that it finds a way to persist in some form.I recommend their Sazerac, Old Fashioned, or Mint Juleps.

Super cool whiskey wall. 10/10 drinks, really recommend the Monarch but they have great seasonal as well. Very cool vibe, great for dressing up a little or come as you are.

I am disappointed how this place turned into. Rude and not well-dressed server, unprofessional. Sports bar atmosphere without pool tables and darts. Not the type of whiskey bar you would seat down and enjoy the drink and vibe. Maybe try to seat at the bar not at the booth or table. Last night experience was just terrible. I used go here every week before I moved few years ago. I loved this place before and it makes me sad. I really hope they manage this place to improve.

Drinks were good but the service definitely left something to be desired. We waited 15 min, in an empty back room, before someone came by to take our order. Then had to wait another 20 min to get the check once our drinks were empty to get the check. We paid a large deposit for a reservation but we’re never told it was going to a charity instead of going to the tab. Which would’ve been fine if we had we been told beforehand but it felt misleading. I’ve had a good time at Julep in the past but recently it seems to have been on a downward trend.

Made a reservation for the Halloween pop up, and it wasn't actually ready. Pretty disappointing that nothing mentioned it wasn't actually ready yet, and we were seated in the regular bar with some decorations on the table. We were seated at 5:45 and it seemed like our server intentionally didn't come by to take drink orders until after happy hour had ended.Drinks were fine. Small, and not particularly exciting. Seemed overpriced for what we received (especially the bar mix). The drink pictured was $26 to serve 2 and it filled those rocks glasses about 1/3. This will teach me not to be sucked in by a gimmick.Otherwise a very nice bar.

I love this place! The staff are some of the nicest and genuine people you'll meet. They have a huge selection of bourbons and whiskeys. Sample what you'd like, they provide 1 and 2 ounce pours at very reasonable prices. If you're a Buffalo Trace fan, they have selections you will not find elsewhere. Be sure to ask about the Locker Club. If whiskey isn't your thing, that's ok. Julep offers number of beer, spirits, wine, and cocktails. If you're looking for small plates, they have a great selection from House Bar Nuts to Sweet Tea Smoked Quail.

My party wanted something light, yet delicious so we headed over to Julep for wine and charcuterie. The wine was delicious and the charcuterie was even moreso. The cheeses, meats, peppers, pickles, olives, etc. It was exactly what we were looking for. I'd definitely return for it.

Very nice cocktail bar in the uptown area of KC, what’s not to like about good cocktails. Super friendly staff. The coolest vibe in this neighborhood. Excellent whiskey menu withinformative descriptions of the whiskey regions. Very reasonable prices. Parking was convenient too.

Great service, great food, the selection of bourbons was very good. Try the bourbon tasting, they explain a lot and then let you drink.
Chill atmosphere, indoor / outdoor seating is nice. Friendly bartenders, can't beat $6 old-fashioned on a Sunday night. And they take care to do it right, even with the well cocktail - very smooth. Quite a bar selection - a good 10 x 25 feet of shelves. I'll be back, definitely a cool place to get a drink. Getting kinda rowdy at the ale house next door though. They're closing early on this particular Sunday - 10pm last call.

We celebrated an important anniversary last night at Julep. The drinks were wonderful and the charcuterie plate we ordered was perfect. The space has a tasteful ambience and vibe. The bartender and staff were excellent. We highly recommend Julep

We stopped in for drinks before going out to dinner with friends. There is nothing outstanding about this place - probably 3 1/2 stars - the service is just ok and the drinks were good - nice presentation. The inside of Julep is very nice and we were able to easily get a table on a Friday about 7:30.

Loved the drinks here! Fairly priced for the quality, taste, and presentation. I had the traditional Julep and house chips.My wife got the fries (they were crispy and looked great too). I would recommend to offer some seasoning on those fries or maybe loaded fries.
