You can never go wrong with Lamar's donuts! Truly one of the top donut places you will ever come across. The service is always nice and they are patient with you. Truly love it !

I was absolutely GOBSMACKED at how ridiculously expensive these donuts are compared even to the Lamar's Liberty location and especially to Fresh Donuts up North! Regular donuts are $2.89 each!! Most donuts aren't even a dollar each and the really gourmet ones from other shops I have been to lately are usually $1.79-1.99 each. Outrageous pricing! The specialty donuts like buttermilk bars, long John's, and apple fritters are $5.02 EACH! Wow! Highway robbery! I'll never be back. Donuts are dirt cheap to make. The only redeeming factor about this place is that the staff was very friendly and the donuts are tasty and soft/fresh in the AM.

I absolutely love the donuts but the prices are ridiculously high, especially compared to their competitors. $5 for one donut is enough to make me go to my second favorite shop.Parking: Very difficult when they are busy.

5 dollars for a donut. You should be arrested for price gouging. You make that poor lady have to explain to ever customer why your donuts are priced as gold! Going out of business soon should be the name of this donut restaurant

I have had a love hate relationship with donuts for a long time... And eating Lamars donuts ? puts me in a Donut Trance. But that delightfully sweet... soft... flaky bite is so irresistibly good. I attempt to practice discipline. Cause I do LOVE donuts.... But HATE what they do to me. They are a total energy crasher... and a side of black coffee don't help much?. But I am not throwing in the towel just yet.Parking: The parking at the particular location on Main Street KCMO can be a trial.. when you trying to get in and get out. To bad they haven't thought about inserting a drive thru being that they are on the end of the strip.
