I’d been to the World War One Museum several times before I even noticed it had a cafe. I’m glad I decided to check it out. The reviewers who claim the cafe doesn't serve hot food had a different experience than my friend and I had. I admit that I was disappointed they no longer serve entrees based on the food soldiers ate in the trenches during the war (other than trench stew, which is still on the menu). I heard that they recently started serving some hot food items. I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Reuben sandwich and the Trench stew. Both were excellent. My wife had the turkey club which she enjoyed as well, a generous portion. The staff was very friendly.

My wife and I recently ate here when visiting the museum and we were pleasantly surprised. She had the Rueben and really enjoyed it. I had some of the best potato soup I’ve ever had in my life. Employees were friendly and the food came out very quickly. Would recommend
