We had brunch for 6 people. The cocktails were fun... Try the flight of Margaritas! Avocado toast was great. They also have tons of other options for food. Delish!

Stopped in on a whim. Wanted a drink and dessert. Bartender recommended the donuts. Very delicious and unique. Great vibe, menu, and welcoming staff. Loved it!

A bit too pricey and chips and salsa were not included for free like every other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. You had to pay extra to get chip refills after your second bowl of chips which seemed a little cheap and there were no rice and beans included on a 14 dollar entree. Food was fine but just seemed like a pricey Jose peppers with a hipster spin on it and less amenities that other Mexican food restaurants always offer at least here in the Midwest.

Stumbled upon this place while headed to work and was definitely impressed. The food was good, the vibes were dope, and the tequila?! *Chefs kiss. Also, the staff is very friendly and the bartenders are very knowledgeable about the tequilas.

Found this place walking down the street. The smell coming from it was amazing. We went in and the staff was amazing. They explained the bottomless bloody Marys. This is a must try for Mexican food. The food has so many flavors and spice. If you are unsure they gave great recommendations. This place is now on my list for when I come to KC.The atmosphere is fun and energetic and modern. Better than anything I have had in Houston and I have tried a lot. Best Huevos Rancheros I have ever had.

This place feels cool. Location is great. Service was great. Music seemed loud. We were there on a Sunday at like 5p and not a lot of people so that might have made noise level seem higher than usual. Bartender was great. Food was ok. Tacos seemed very wet. Menu is a bit limited for dinner. Happy hour apps were great. Drinks were on point. Had a great time. Glad Port Fonda is in Westport.

The food is not what it used to be. I got 2 chicken tacos and 1 shrimp. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting in a crockpot with zero seasoning for hours. It was mush with no flavor. The shrimp also had no flavor. It tasted like unseasoned shrimp on top of plain cabbage. Port Fonda used to be fun and exciting and FULL of flavor. Glad to see Patrick Ryan go, but the food is seriously suffering.

Our server was having a bad day, but our food was great and other servers helped her! It was really loud: music, crowd, all hard surfaces, which took away from our conversation and therefore our food sharing experience. The food is so good here, I would prefer the focus be on that.

Service was very slow. Chips were very stale. Pozole was the best item we got and I was happy with that, but everything else was mediocre for the price. Very loud and difficult to have a conversation.

Good food, good vibes. Cannot for the life of me understand why they wouldn’t be open on Tuesdays but we learned this the hard way.

Excellent restaurant with incredibly tasty food, wonderful ambiance and good service. A testament to everything that’s right about Kansas City cuisine. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. My order came very quickly. I really appreciate their innovative menu thats is very flavorful and has numerous options for vegetarian versions. As a diabetic I really appreciated I could get fresh cut raw veggies with seasoning instead of chips for example. I had the Chimichanga del Dia with habanero sauce and a habenero based cocktail. The menu is absolutely delightful. If you’re expecting a typical, boring Mexican restaurant with mariachi music or are afraid of flavor, don’t go. You’re not ready yet. If you want something tasty and unexpected, go to Port Fonda, you won’t be sorry you did.

Stopped in on Friday afternoon for Happy Hour. Shawn, our server, is the best! Great knowledge of all the menu. The chips and salsa are the best! We had the chips and salsa, two BOGO Margaritas and 3 tacos for under $25.00. Great deal. ? We will be back.

WORST MEXICAN EVER! I can't believe how incredibly bad the food from Port Fonda was. We ordered the Enchiladas de Pollo. The chicken is described as being wood roasted, if it was wood roasted you sure couldn't taste it. The chicken tasted awful.Have you ever had the nasty chicken that comes in a tin can? That is what the chicken tasted like. It was devoid of any flavor and tasted like it was old. We did not finish it.The refried beans taste like basic canned beans. The rice is has a really strong flavor of cilantro. The saving grace was the Chips, they were hot and amazing but the salsa was also something that was just weird. They have 6 types of salsa, we tried the roasted tomatillo one (the SALSA de MOLCAJETE), it had a bitter vinegar taste. The other salsa (the TOMATO SORRENO) was smokey and reminded me of BBQ, it was edible, but not good.We had been waiting to try this place as it had the best reviews in town and was world renowned. If this is world class cuisine, it's not for me. We put off trying this place for years because of the price points. It is very overpriced and just not worth it. I hate having to leave this review. This was the place we had been waiting to try for years. I'm so sorry it was so bad. I hope this was just a bad one time experience.
