Close to my office so gave it a try. I got chicken tenders. Chicken was hot and cooked perfectly, juicy. Portions were generous, service was good, restaurant was clean and bright.

I stopped in yesterday for a quick bite, first time in. I saw some fried chicken tenders and fish so ordered 2 of each. She rang me up and was almost 14 bux. Thought it would be much cheaper. Wish I got a burrito instead.

The staff super friendly and accommodating. I ate fried chicken. They bread it theirs elves. Fresh, hot, juicy and big pieces. Good seasoning on the breading.Not much to offer in this area, so it was nice to find something other than a sandwich.Parking: Corner lot that can accommodate the area.Dietary restrictions: My husband diabetic and ordered Taco salad. They can make some vegetarian things.
Place has a very chill environment. The cook is very sweet and polite. She made the food in prompt timing. She also served our food. My son and I went on a Thursday noon, it wasn't busy at all. Very quiet if you'd like to sit and eat in peace. Food was good, menu layout could improve perhaps add pictures to it to make it easier for people who aren't familiar with Latin food. A little more lighting and a little background music could be convenient too:)

Fried burritos are always good and hot. Catfish is fresh, hot and excellent. This is an out of the way place but well worth it if you like very nice employees and great food.

Tomatillo is a small family owned restaurant. It's near the Twinbrook Library. I've gone there several times with my family to eat. Their Salvadorian Pupusas are delicious. So are their steak Tacos and their Burritos. Other favorite dishes include their Mixed Fajitas or their Quesadillas. They also sell beer if you want to have a cold one. From what I know, they also do delivery to near by areas. They work with Door Dash and Grub Hub. You also have to try their Horchata. Its delicious.
