“Ice & Fuel is my go-to spot for what I feel is the best burger in STL. The cooked-to-order freshness is outstanding. With fresh, crisp vegetables and sides, it's hard to beat. If your cardiologist is more forgiving than mine, get a side of onion rings! Drinks are cheaper than most places and the pours are perfect. The staff is always courteous and attentive. Frequent visits and you'll be remembered - that's a great part of going here. My one complaint: It is loud. Very loud. Between 5 and 7 you're probably not going to have a few cocktails and catch up with friends. If yelling people is your thing, you'll love it! Overall Ice & Fuel is a great, underrated beer and burger joint. Check it out!“
“First time diner at Wasabi. First off, I can't believe I am leaving a 5 star rating based on the circumstances tonight. The food was excellent...some of the best sushi I have had in a while. But the place was packed...a complete madhouse...it was $7 roll night plus the night before Valentine's Day. Placed our order quickly and were excited for our rolls. The wait on our sushi order was over an hour which under normal circumstance would have me ballistic.What made this a 5 star experience was our amazing server, Michelle. She was incredibly good at her job...managed our expectations from the very beginning regarding the wait time for sushi and why things were going to take longer than normal. She also repeatedly mentioned that she hoped the long wait would not impact our decision to come back in the future...and is exactly what happened because of her care and attention to the situation.I dine out every day and was so impressed at how she managed our table. It is truly a rarity in this day and age to have someone so poised, professional and friendly able to manage our expectations the way she did given difficult circumstances. Thank you, Michelle!PS. we ordered the Philadelphia roll, the Batman Roll, the Yummy Roll and the Spicy Omega Roll...all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious...our favorite was the Spicy Omega.“
“Rose is amazing in the breakfast area, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Wish nutrition info was available for diabetics. That was our only problem. Location is good for stay to see our daughter in college. We will stay there again, especially if Best Western continues to offer incentives.“
“Food was really good. Four of us for lunch. 2 of us got burgers and fries. Really good. 1 person got the baby back ribs with 2 sides. Good but expensive.I person got one of the lunch specials with half a sandwich. My meal with drink was 12.00. A bargain these days.Waitress was a Saint. Lol. Two of us are somewhat particular. She handled wonderfully. All in all a good experience. Only negative was no gluten free options.“
“It was my first time at the Bar Louie in Kirkwood. We had a great time and experience at this location, much better than the Chesterfield location experience, which is closer to our house. I think it was so much better because of our bartender Kelsey. She was so great and so much fun! She checked on us regularly, made sure our drinks were never empty (which is a hard job when it comes to my husbands drinking), and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We will definitely make the extra drive to Kirkwood just so she can be our bartender!“
“This place is one of my favorite places! They are welcoming and inviting! Steak is always seasoned to perfection. We have been celebrating our life accomplishments at this location for over 15 years and we are never disappointed! Reservations are a must and great for a romantic ambiance, special birthday dinner, and other occasions.“
