“Visiting for a work trip and decided to try this place out. First off, if you are expecting your typical chinese take out, this is not the place for you. This is a family run Taiwanese restaurant and while some of the items are familiar by name the taste is very different, not in a bad way. We ordered egg rolls, crab rangoon, house fried rice, honey chicken, general tso chicken, and chili chicken stir fry i think it was. Everything was very good. The crab rangoon was very different from almost every chinese place ive had, it was more creamy and garlicy. The egg rolls were smaller but super crispy. The sweet n sour sauce they serve it with is actually not very sweet as i was expecting. The chicken dishes were really tender, it seemed like they were chicken thighs? Service was a little slow to get our food made, but like i said, this is a family run business with the kids helping out. Definitely worth visiting! Thanks guys“
“Had the soup and salad lunch with my daughter. It's a tradition of ours. It's is always very good. We also enjoyed the mixed appetizer plate. Our waitress went above and beyond to help us with anything else we might have needed. Always 5 stars.“
“I love chicken salad chick. It is a chain restaurant but it is so good! This is my first time going to a chicken salad chick outside of Florida and I was not disappointed.I always get the turkey club sandwich with a side of pimento cheese.Your meal also comes with a cookie which is delectable. The shared parking lot out front and I did not have any trouble finding a spot. There is also outside seating as well.“
“We try the pork ramen, miso ramen, and an appetizer with tuna. The taste is fine, but the portion is very generous. The price is also very affordable. They also have many options of sushi rolls, and poke bowls. We will come back again when we are carving for ramen.“
“Pretty solid. Was our first time having Indian, so this was a new experience. We got the dinner for 2, the soup was super good! The chicken tikka masala and the lamb curry was nice, though my lamb had a super crunchy bit that I couldn’t tell what it was. Not as spicy as I was hoping for but I was happy. The rice pudding they gave wasn’t very good, had a muted taste. The bread was excellent. Service was okay, the servers weren’t very chatty and we had like 4 different people checking in. Kind of an awkward experience. Would definitely get carry out or go again!“
“The food is good, especially for the price. They dont put peas and carrots in their rice like most county chinese food places do. I called my order in and called back to change it and the person who handled my order was very kind and patient.“
“Very inexpensive but the reason is that the food is vegetable heavy. Food is still very good and if you're a veggie fan, probably the best place in town.I'm an out of towner but the St Paul Sandwich was good. I can't compare it to whatever the St Louis standard is though.“
“Ambiance = none I stopped in for plain white steamed rice to go. The smells are AMAZINGLY DELIGHTFUL so upon entering I was disappointed to see a large too With really no decor only tables and chairs. I did not go on a tour, nor peruse the online photos so I'm guessing that the back rooms are sexy intimate dining rooms. But that's for you to check out! Enjoy“
“Someone mentioned that the Ham Fried Rice is the best around. True. Crab Rangoon was way above average delicious as well. Delivered by what was probably the gentleman that started this family business 70 years ago or however long it's been around. Love that kind of family business. What an absolute delight!“
“Went after an event before our 1.5 hour car ride home. The food was delicious!! Even my super picky kid loved it! I ordered the chicken and shrimp carbonara and it was sooo good! The sauce was delicious and the chicken and shrimp was so flavorful. We would come back if it wasn't so far away!Kid-friendliness: My kid is extremely picky and still eat his pizza, he even wanted more! The staff was super nice to them as well, very kid friendly.“
“I was working in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for a late breakfast. I decided to get a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and it was pretty good. It's nice to know that they serve breakfast all day. The service was prompt and about the only complaint I would have is that, I'm not big on hearing loud music.“
“Tucked away in a charming strip mall in Ladue is the OG St. Louis soup and sandwich place. There is no way this popular lunch spot is going to get anything other than 5 stars! Their lunch selections will blow you away. And you can get a combo - 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad or soup - choice of 2 - so you don't have to choose. They always have a wonderful selection of soups - vegan options; a few old standards and something unexpected. Today, I selected Mexican Corn Soup and it was delicious - one of the few times I've had a corn soup that was chock full of corn and also tasted like bacon. So good! Your sandwich and salad choice is not going to be so easy. There are so many options! I love their chicken salad and I always go back to it. It's just something simple, really well done. I sub sourdough bread because their sourdough is literally the best. Today, I paired it with the harvest salad, which was a great choice! If you're like me, and you hate digging around to find the toppings on your bed of lettuce, you need to go to Companion! Because the salads are plentiful and toppings are abundant. And we're not even going to discuss the treats at the end of the counter - just save a few calories for a giant cookie or bar. Thank me later. The cafe is a bit small for the large crowd they always seem to draw but in the warmer months, there is a small outside seating area. Go go go. Find your new favorites!“
“Excelent service, never had a better drive through experience I think the cashier's name was Asia. Perfectly communicated the menu items to me as I has a hard time seeing due to my visual impairment. She was so patient with me and the food was “
“DEEELICIOUS and EXCELLENT customer service. It was my first time here. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered 1 regular Reuben and 1 New York style (double meat). The New York style was ordered for my parents to share. Both sandwiches were fresh and DELICIOUS. My only complaint is the NY Reuben didn't really have double meat, although both were very filling. That's upsetting because it's a $21 sandwich. Other than that, 2 thumbs waaay up!“
“One of the best BreadCos. Enjoyable eating inside or on the terrace out front. Staff is super friendly and if they get something wrong they'll make it right. The "value duets" are great, affordable options in an expensive sandwich world. You get a half sandwich, chips, and soup for $7 or $8. Choices are limited, but we really enjoy the BBQ chicken sandwich with tomato soup. Another good deal is bagel Tuesday, when you can get 13 bagels for $9.50, and their family value feists.Interesting fact: it's located across the street from the site if the first St. Louis Bread Company (closed when they opened this one), which was a tenant in the little shopping center. It's amazing how far they've come, but that original location was the best.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
