About HK's Restaurant and Bar

HK's Restaurant and Bar offers a relaxing dining experience with a friendly atmosphere. The setting is beautiful, with seating by the window overlooking a Japanese garden and koi pond. The restaurant features a variety of bar food and sandwiches, along with some steak and dinner entrees. Customers have enjoyed dishes like the Pasta Prima Vera with shrimp and wild mushrooms, and the angus pasta. The pretzel appetizer remains quite good, and even kids enjoyed it. The onion rings and skin-on mashed potatoes were also tasty, while the steak was cooked perfectly, making it the dinner many were looking for. The lemon drop martini was cold and delicious. Customers appreciated the comfortable chairs, beautiful views, and excellent service, particularly praising server Ethan for his friendly and enthusiastic service. The restaurant also offers live music, enhancing the pleasant atmosphere, and guests recommend trying the S'mores dessert skillet. While some dishes such as the grouper and creme brûlée received mixed reviews, the overall experience is enjoyable, with fair prices and a focus on drinks, appetizers, and desserts. Visitors also noted the atmosphere, with live yacht rock music adding to the charm, and they suggested checking out the waterfall feature.

Our family usually loves eating here, but our most recent visit was very subpar. 2 of our 3 steaks were way too over charred, to the point of the entire steak tasting burnt to a crisp. Hopefully our next vist is back to normal or we will definitely not be returning.

Our waiter Ethan was the only bright spot of the meal. He was attentive and personable and worked hard. Ambiance felt old and tired, stuck in the 70's or 80's. Needs a serious update Food was “just ok” at best and that's being generous. Tough steak that was overcooked and literally charred black in many areas, overpowering sauce with it.

Old world charming with a beautiful view! Food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive.
