Fairly nice docks, but the steps up to the restrauant are poor. This restrauant is known for it's pizza and you will not be disappointed. The pizza is great. The service has always been very poor and that never seems to change.

We held our Client Appreciation Party at Lazy Gators recently for the Fran Campbell Team at RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks. The food was AMAZING! Everyone raved about the bar-be-que and pizza. The lake setting is the best! It could have been warmer, but JG provided heaters. We filled the space and our clients did not leave hungry :) If you haven't been before...you should definitely give Shady Gators/Lazy Gators a try!

Advertisement shows live entertainment. There was no live entertainment only music from someone’s playlist. There was 3 people in my party. We all ordered dinner, two people was given their food and the third waited 15+ minutes longer and still was not served their meal because it was “cooked in a different kitchen” #

Awesome place, went to see Dj Pauley D from Jersey Shore there and had a blast. Drinks, staff, other people attending were all great the police officer's were even great. Can't say enough about this place.

If you love eating outside on a deck this is the place for you! Food has always been good when we eat there, huge portions.
If you don’t want to sweat for your entire stay, then be ignored when you try to call the owner about a refund, please do you and your friends a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE.We stayed in one “The Villas” for my friend’s bachelor party in August of 2023. We arrived on a Friday and went immediately to Lazy gators. When we got back to our rental that evening, we found the temperature at 81 degrees. I contacted the manager requesting that they unlock the box so that we could turn the temperature down. Instead of waiting, we got dressed and went out to get out of the heat. Once we returned that evening, it was still 80 degrees, and the vents were not blowing cold air. I contacted the manager again to let her know of the issue but did not receive a response. We attempted to sleep that evening and not let it ruin our weekend in the hopes they could fix it the next day.On Saturday morning, I contacted the manager again and let her know that the temperature was still at 78 degrees and requested that they come look at it. The cleaning lady came back and turned the A/C down again. It still was not working, so she shut it off and told us it was frozen. We already had plans that day, so we left thinking it would be fixed when we got back. When we returned that evening it was 84 degrees. We knew that the property manager had not responded to us the night before when we had contacted her that late, so we decided to just suffer through another night and contact them in the morning.After leaving that weekend, it was obvious that Shady Gator’s maintenance and management staff was not concerned with their customers’ experience. I was hoping though that another manager/owner would capitulate given our terrible experience while staying with them. Oh, how I was wrong though. Instead of handling the situation professionally, my calls were ignored. I called the property manager numerous times to see who I needed to talk to about this. she finally texted me that she was not an owner, and I would need to call JG. When I called JG, I was ignored as well, so I sent him texts explaining the situation. He finally texted me back on Thursday of the next week and told me that he was swamped the whole weekend and requested that I call him back on Monday. When I called him on Monday there was still no answer. I have not heard from him since and have come to terms with the fact that this is how they operate as a company.This is why I am here, to warn everyone of the poor quality and care that this business represents. If you are planning on staying at Lake of the Ozarks with a group of people, I urge you to take the above situation into consideration before determining who you will be booking with.

The food and rim is were great. Our server was awesome. The decor and location were perfect. Visiting from Indiana and this place was recommended by a local. Will definitely go back the next time we visit.

If I could give zero stars I would. We rented a 44' cruiser and it was the biggest POS I've ever been on. It was soooo dirty. We had to stop for fuel because it wasn't even close to full. And then water patrol stopped us. Said they had been on the boat before and wanted to follow up on it. Ended up getting a couple "fix it" citations but i fennel like it could've been more. 3 of 4 fire extinguishers were empty and the blowers didn't work. All JG offered us was 2 extra free hours and a couple pizzas. Uh, no thanks! Just get me off this death trap!!!

Stayed in a Lodge owned by Shady Gators. It was absolutely terrible & dirty. There were dead bugs and dirt & leaves all over the floors. Spiderwebs & spiders as if nobody has stayed or cleaned that place in no months. In a house that sleeps 16, there were 2 shower towels provided. A toilet that barely flushed. No WiFi. A round table with 5 chairs. No ceiling fans and poor ventilation in the rooms. Smelled musty & moldy. Very out dated & needs serious upgrades for the price paid. Has a shared deck with one table & not enough outdoor seating if both sides of the Lodge is rented out. Would not recommend. This place is a dump.

The service, the people, and the food were fabulous. We got in fast and we got great food and the waitress was wonderful and quick too. We absolutely loved this restaurant! It is so fun and right on the lake so you have the best views! Will be going back as soon as we can!
